Good morning friends ... walker, glad you made it!! now you can sit back and enjoy your time away ... what a nice kick off meal and cake for your birthday week!! ... as the kids get older, it's always nice to plan something when they can all be there ... the kids had a great time and I'll get more stories from them today ... I think LS had had enough and was not very happy when they got home ... maybe too much excitement/rushing trying to get everything in that they wanted too ... I didn't want to stick around too long 😁😄

kittyfan, everything has to be so technical when it comes to wills, etc. ... glad that you are on top of things and are getting it done ... any time frame as to when your house will be done?

We had some heavy rain with winds during the night ... I could hear it hitting the bedroom window ... more today too!

Happy Monday!  Sitting in my FL office...😂...front porch..on new swing seat...👍. 80 sunny degrees.  DS took week off and DH helping with projects.  Me...nothing! Ha!  I do not want to get in our car..🤣.  We will go out for dinner later....another freebie for DH. 👍

I can imagine how tired the kids probably were when they returned.  Go, go, go at Disney!  Maybe they will both take good naps today, Tootie. 🤞

kittyfan, you have a lot going on there...medical issues, house issues and legal issues.  No worries though...DB has things under control I am sure!  Energizer Bunny!

Hello friends ... walker, it sounds like you have the perfect "office" ... enjoy your stay! ... I'm tired tonight ... I forgot how busy both kids are ... LS took a 2 hour nap but LG did not nap at all ... LG told us that we would not be able to go on any of the rides at Disney because they were "crazy" and they went fast ... 😂😂 ... they had a fun time! ... Epcott, Animal Kingdom, Star Wars and then a Christmas dinner $$$ ... DS was able to have some "fun time" inbetween his seminars but was disappointed because some of the rides were broken down or stopped while they were on them ... he said they were eventually fixed but they had to go back if they wanted to ride them ... they got passes to get back on.

I'm heading to the kitchen now to do my dinner dishes and clean up the kitchen ... I've been reading the boards and got carried away ...

No plans for today ... I just realized that Thanksgiving is about 2 weeks away!! ... I guess I could make my list out for things that are needed ... the turkey being one of them!! 🦃 gobble, gobble.

Good Morning Friends!  ☕️☀️🦃...🇺🇸

Happy Tuesday!  My office is open...😉!  Stop in...I'll be here all day...ha!  Another delightful morning and temps will be in mid-80's.  DH and DS already busy with yard work....DS has 2 1/2 acres....always something to do.

We had a very nice dinner out last night.  DH got his Veteran's free meal.  Then DS picked up rest of the tab so that was a surprise.  We kept waiting for bill and DS said "le's go, I've already paid it."  Awwww...thanks!

Tootie, LG makes us laugh again with his comment...rides too crazy for you...(all of us)...😂.  I join you and kittyfan as spectators....can pass on most rides.  My favorite at Disney was always Its a Small World boat ride.  Glad the family had a good time.

Thanksgiving coming....yikes...not too concerned this year...small for us...we will go to DD's...I'll let her plan and tell me what to bring..😁.  Are you hosting, Tootie, or going to your DS's.  Bet your DH will be baking.

kittyfan, hope this is a good week there...good lab reports, etc.  It isn't easy when you have to add meds or change them.  You begin to wonder....do I have to keep taking these?  Guess we rely on the experts.

Walker:what a nice dinner.  Love the recognition for those who served.

Tootie: yes time is flying.

Yesterday brother said he was lounging. He called me from the pharmacy with a question.  He said he was still in his PJs. Okay I have to talk about him. Although I am certain they are tailored! We talked only briefly this afternoon. He had texted me a long list of to do items. 

I had gone to pick up dinner. Was ok but I was sitting here when I heard a tap on door.  In comes brother.  I had been thinking of an air fryer. Decided I did not need one. Looked at a small one then saw a slightly larger one with great reviews. I had it in my Amazon cart. He does have my password.  I told him to look at it.  

  He told me he has ordered it.  Looked at my cart. Still there. He has ordered it but forgot to change the delivery address to me.  He brought it with him.  Blew in and started cleaning up!  I had lost sound on my TV. He unplugged everything and plugged it back in. Sound back..  he looked at some paperwork- never ending. Has questions about a tax bill.  He left to take his DW dinner.  She doesn't cook!  When their son was in elementary school there was a discussion. He said his dad was the cook in the family.  Teacher asked him.  He said yes growing up his dad was the cook.  

Tomorrow he will pick me up early for labs. Then to attorney to sign documents. Another item off the list.  I had received two checks. He will deposit for me.  

Need to get some rest.

walker, glad you enjoyed your dinner ... and it sounds like your office is a nice, relaxing place to sit and enjoy the day ... DS wants to host Thanksgiving (fine with me) ... and yes, DH will be baking his pies and we always start off our meal with his pumpkin soup ...

We are at a chilly 25 degrees now and our high will be 44 ... our tree out in front still has it leaves but I'm hoping that after this cold they will start to fall ...

Good Morning Friends! ☕️☀️🦃....🇺🇸

Happy Wednesday!  Sitting in my office watching the world go by here...ha!  No plans for today but, like at home, laundry to do so I'll get that done.  DH and DS out "doing their thing" front and back.  DIL leaves early for school (teaches kindergarten) so never see her until later.  GS will leave in a little while for flight training.  Older GS has moved into his own apartment but saw him Sunday and Monday.

Did I mention GS wants to be a pilot?  He has been taking flying lessons since last year....close to getting first license.

Yesterday we went to airport where he trains.  We saw him fly, land, etc. Very cool!  DH got to see inside of plane.  (Years ago he had taken some lessons too.).  Hope he continues to have good success...and SAFE landings.

Babble...babble.....enough on me.....kittyfan, not surprised your DB is family cook too....he does it all!  Jack of All Trades they say, eh?  I do not have an air fryer but those who do seem to really like it.  Let us know.

Tootie, I heard weather in north was chilly...won't mention temperature here...😆😉.  Your DH is good in kitchen too...baking and soup....yum!  I have never had Pumpkin Soup but love Butternut Squash Soup...maybe similar?

All for now....need DS to give me a tutorial on his new washer....like a rocket ship....is anything simple anymore?

Good evening

Busy day with DB. Started out with labs. Too low. Then to sign documents. Picked up lunch went to Condo.  BRother and wife had an appointment. I stayed with the dog. They came back and we tackled paperwork.  Ran into a problem. Brother had his lap top called his wife to come down. She had problems. Went to grab her lap top 

Started out brother had to go back for his phone we were on way home when his DW calls. We left without goodbye. She has gone upstairs   brother brought me home. More paperwork 

Walked brother out came back in and went to turn the light by the computer off.  Brothers phone. I called his DW to tell her I had the phone and to send him back.

I am ready to turn in.
