Good morning friends ... walker, what an impressive burial ... gave me chills when I read about it ... I've only seen a military burial on TV and I bet it was very moving ... even though it was a tough and sad event, I'm glad that you were able to be there with your group of friends ... it sounds like your friend (widow) will do ok ... we didn't have to wait at all for voting ... in and out in less than 10 minutes! but there were lines as we left ...

We just got back from the airport ... DS has a business trip in Orlando and DIL thought it would be a good idea for them all to go back to Disney ... (I'm not so sure that was a good idea (they were there last year) ... it was a very hectic morning (at their house) trying to get things/kids packed .. DIL is not very organized) had to pick them up at 5am ... but, they're off and flying now!! ... I get a week off from watching LS.

It's raining here this morning but it is a nice 62 degrees and it should clear up this afternoon ... yesterday we had a beautiful 76 degree day ... wow! in November?? taking it day by day 😊

Happy Wednesday!  Pass some extra coffee this morning...sounds like you need it, Tootie.  Early morning airport run .....bet family will fall asleep on the plane.  Another fun trip for kids to Disney.  You will definitely need a UB (or two) today.  Me too....

I was up late last night and during the night.  Between time change, travel from one time zone to another and back, I am really confused and tired!  What day is it? What time is it?  Where am I? HA!

Good afternoon

I don't often share but my late husband was military and we did the veterans cemetery.  Yes I is very precise. The casket is whisked away but they have it down. By he time we were driving out everything had been completed and tidy.  The headstone was completed very quickly also .  I had made my decisions on wording. 

Brother took many Disney trips over the years.  I am sure he owns a porion!   Said he is done. No trips with grands.   I am sure they will have fun but it is exhausting. Keeping up with two littles. 

I didn't stay up late watching he news. I find it tiring. I think last election I opted out early

kittyfan, how nice to know your husband was a veteran and had burial in Veteran's Cemetery.  Very special services which veterans deserve.  

Oh, yes, Disney is a money pit and exhausting!  Fun for the young!  I'll be anxious to hear Tootie's stories from kids.

I am so glad the election is OVER!  And, very glad it was decided last night...late but decided!  I was afraid it would drag on and on!  SO...time to MOVE FORWARD!  🇺🇸🇺🇸

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, those Military burial's are a great tribute to our Veterans ... thank you for sharing about your DH ... I would never be able to keep up at Disney!

walker, I hope you were able to get some decent sleep last night and get your body back into the "groove" ... I went to bed early and slept through the night ...

I have a funny story about the kids ... when we went to pick them up yesterday LS says to me "are you going to come with us?" ... LG pipes in and says "no LS, they can't come, our wagon is too small for them, we need a BIG, BIG one because we have to do a LOT of walking and they might get tired!" ... out of the mouths of babes!! 😂

 I'm glad the election is over with too!! now the mud slinging will stop ... maybe 😏

No news here...just busy getting ready to leave Saturday.  Hurrying to put together GS birthday gift since we will be gone.  Also, wanted to pull together Christmas gifts for FL family but that won't happen.  I might shop down there.👍

Good morning friends ... walker, it sounds like you are heading to FL?? ... you will be busy today getting things ready.

kittyfan, I can just see Mr. Jake trotting down the hall 😄 he didn't want to miss out on anything!!

Yesterday I spent a couple of hours going through "paper/art work" from the kids when they were in PreK-2nd grade 😲 ... someone please tell me why I ever thought it was a good idea to save them!! ... I had them tucked away (luckily in only a couple of boxes) I pulled out a few papers and art work and took pictures with my iPad and then recycled them ... it did bring back some cute memories (but I hadn't looked at them since they were packed away ... and I actually forget I had them) ... I guess that phrase "out of sight, out of mind" was so very true in my case ...

Happy Friday! ☀️ The sun is up and it is really bright today! 

I guess I forgot to mention trip to FL .... another road trip for Lucy and Desi....🚗.  We wanted to get down before the holidays.  October was too busy here so picked these dates...back in about ten days.  I won't be here to celebrate my birthday with GS but, I will be able to celebrate with DS and family which will be fun.  That rarely happens anymore.  Turning 16, GS won't miss me...haha!

I found the funniest book for him..."Things Not to Crash Into"....one page is "don't hit old people" 🤣🤣.

So true, Tootie, "out of sight...out of mind" .... a trip down memory lane is always nice though.  And, it is hard to believe that now you are collecting artwork from grandchildren, right?

DH stored the last of things on deck yesterday.  Grill closed for season!!  ☹️ How about you, Tootie?  Time to roll it away yet?  😆 Let the show begin...

kittyfan, Mr. Jake .... SO mascot...cute story.  Friendly pup!

Busy day....better get going...I will try to check in later before take-off here in morning.  If not, I'll check in from the road but at different times.
