Good afternoon

I have had too many of those tossing nights

This morning had a drs apt. New doc. Took months to get this apt. I had time wrong.  Brother called to say traffic at a standstill.  He thought we were going to a different spot.  Fortunately he had apt time right. I did not.  Doc was prompt. We  left there stopped at lab. Two different attempts to accomplish. Then brothers wife met us for lunch. She had taken dog to the grommer.  Then she had vet appointment. She went on her ventures. Then brother brought me home. Helped me with some things. I knew he would come in and sweep and organize me!  He had an appointment so I sent him on his way with some items he could use and some dog treats to try for his dog.  He called me in a panic about 7:30. Did he leave his rings. I checked and he had. Was glad they were here and he didn't have to look through the trash.  I commented on a lovely ring I hadn't seen before. He said he found some items going through the garage he had moved to a house after they sold theirs. Stayed there a year. Was building home and had a condo here. Close to my spot.  They still go back and forth. Brother will fly in for short stints. They are here for two weeks. Both have Drs appointments and business to attend to.  When we were heading to Drs apt we drove past his old house. I said I understood. Lots of memories there.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, you were busy, busy yesterday ... but how nice that you and DB could meet DW for lunch ... she sounds like she is a Bunny Energizer too!! always on the go!! ... I can imagine that DB was worried about losing his rings!! ... how convenient that he has a condo close to you!!

walker, those Block Parties used to be quite popular here ... our street never had one ... I don't think anyone ever wanted to take charge and try to organize one ... me included!! 😄 no thanks!! ... are you all ready for your friends visit??

Shout out to cookie ... 👋 ... I keep hoping that "today will be the day she came on" ... but no luck today 😞

We'll have a sunny 72 degree day and it should get warmer each day towards the weekend and into next week 😁

Happy Wednesday!  Another day closer to Fall...cool morning, school buses running....I like it. AND.. I really like coffee with friends.  Me too, Tootie, still looking and hoping to see cookie.

kittyfan, DB and DW really are like family...friends are the family we choose...😊.  You all had a busy day yesterday.

Almost ready for friend....one more trip to store today and a few last minute things to do.  Then some food prep.  I don't like to be in kitchen too much when I have company.

Like my mom....plan and prep ahead....then enjoy!  🤞

My friend does make really good deviled eggs which DH loves.  So, to stay on his good side😆, she always makes those when she is here.

DB popped in after a doctor's apt. Said doc told him he was getting to thin.. okay a chorus of us including his DW.   Grabbed his rings after giving dogs a treat. Dashed off.  Said it was 107!!

Good morning friends ... 🥵 yikes kittyan!! 107??!! hopefully your temps begin to drop a little bit ... right now it is 53 degrees ... Fall is on it's way although it is going to be a nice 74 today and warmer throughout next week ...

walker, have fun with your friend ... I like to "plan and prep ahead" too ... makes it a whole lot easier and like you said, you get to enjoy too!! ... laughed at her making her deviled eggs for DH.

cookie, I wish you could just pop in for a minute to let us know how you are doing ... we miss you!! ❤

We were able to spend a lot of time outside yesterday, which we all loved 😉😁 ... we had a football throwing contest to see who could throw the farthest ... LG said my throw was good but his was the "bestest" 😊

We have to get our shed cleaned out and organized before we get ready to put our summer things away ... today might be the day to get it started ... we'll see if the spirit moves me ...

Happy Thursday!  Stay in and stay cool, kittyfan!  You are really having a heat wave there. 🥵 Pretty nice day again here so we can sit outside later.  TX heat moving north this weekend but not three digits! 

Tootie, loved the cute story about football toss and LG is "bestest"...😅.  Good luck getting the spirit to move you out to shed.....might have to think about that one awhile..ha!  But, that day is getting closer for storing things..😟.

My friend should arrive by lunchtime.  I'll still be able to check in here but if I am off schedule you will know why.  I better get those eggs boiled so she can make the deviled eggs too....😆.

Good morning friends ... walker, the spirit tried to move me but it just didn't work 😂 I did go out to the shed (DH was cutting the grass so it was opened) and I did find a couple pumpkin planters that had seen better days and trashed those ... and as I looked around ... (like you said, I might have to think about it) I turned and went back in ... 😂😂 ... another day!! ... I did notice that our hanging pots are getting ready to call it quits!! ... I hope you have a good visit with your friend.

I need extra coffee today.....last night was a "tossin' and turnin'" night!  Maybe it was too much sitting and talking with friend....only had two drinks before dinner but I don't know.....just one of those nights...too wound up I guess.  On we go for new day.

We are going to meet DD for lunch today so that will be  nice.  My friend is like her aunt.

Tootie, first step with shed...you looked...😂.  And, took two things out...👏.  That's enough for one day...haha.

Good morning

Oh yes another tossing night!

I know the cleaning out the shed. Mood has to be right. 

Hot and hotter here. No hint of fall in the air for us. But you have winter and we do no.

Got a haircut yesterday. Much needed. I had a senioromdnt yesterday and brother came to be rescue. 

His son is an architect. He was designed several HS. He showed me a pic of the football stadium. 70 million. Complete with sky boxes. Boy quite a change from my day. Three gyms and a performing arts center etc 

He called his dad last night when brother was here. He is in Philly on business. Brother said if he mirs he will not be moving again! 

Going to my house today. Mixed emotions.

Good morning friends ... walker, hope you got a better nights sleep ... how nice that you could meet for lunch with your DD ... we had an "aunt" like that too! 😊

kittyfan, DB to the rescue with your senior moment!! ... how fun it must be to design a stadium and then show off pictures of it ... I hope things are moving along with your house ... I understand the mixed emotions ...

We're at a cool 52 right now but should have a sunny 80 degree day but the humidity is supposed to come back too!! ugh!! oh well, at least we don't have triple digits 🥵 ... stay cool kittyfan ... and cookie!!
