Oh, Tootie, this is a big deal for LG going off to PreK...bigger deal for parents and grandparents...😢..there he goes....but, he will do well.  I still remember when you found out you and DH were going to be grandparents. 🕰️✈️s!

I passed my dental visit...whew!!  😮‍💨 But, found out my favorite hygenist is no longer there....bummer....really liked her for several years! 😟

cookie, Cousin Eddie is "on call" and said he would love to check on you....would even bring mimosas.  😂

Good morning friends ... walker, another "two peas in a pod" for our DH's ... mine watches and reads all about politics too!! and then he'll tell me what he just read ... 🙄 ... I literally laughed out loud at your comment about DB being the only man to comment on a womans weight without being clobbered 😂😂 ... good news about your dentist visit but ugh!! with a new hygienst ... glad it all worked out!

I overslept this morning ... I couldn't sleep during the night and was downstairs for a couple of hours ...

Happy Thursday!  We are into a week of great weather.  No A/C needed!  👍

Grocery store for me today....good grilling weather so what will it be? 🤔 Then a UB....I did not sleep well last night either....tossin 'n turnin!  I did not get up like you, Tootie, but thought about it.

oh my tech woes!!

Last night Holly started to howl.  Then I realized her favorite was outside.  I chatted for a bit.  They came in. Holly  goes to the door whining and scratching at the door.  She had never done this

  This morning went to the dining room.  Holly's number one fan was there. He said he had been in the hall and heard her.  He lives around the corner and visits the courtyard but I don't see him in my hall.  My up the hall neighbor comes in. I hadn't seen him in weeks. I did see him yesterday with a cane. Today he had a Walker. Said he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's. We are joined by someone else. He introduced himself I knew he had cognitive issues ut boy howdy. Was ithr fellas mom or his sister hello. We are near the same age. Then he is told we live on the same hall 

  A prime example of an inappropriate placement.  He wonders around and interrupts activities. 

I have been watching the Olympics. Some of the events!  I was watching girls wrestling earlier and powerlifting 

Manyyears ago when I was in jr high we had a presentation. A alumnihad earned a Olympic medal. We were allowed to hold it. I don't remember event or if it was gold or bronze

Good morning friends ... walker, lucky you to be able to open your windows ... we were supposed to have cooler temps but it has been in the mid 80's with humidity so we've had to keep the A/C going ... I keep reminding myself that it will be cooler (way cooler) in a few months so don't wish this weather away ... and today we'll have a rainy day! ... lots of rain clouds in the sky!

kittyfan, sorry you are still having tech issues ... cute story about Holly with her fan club ... she didn't want to miss out on any hugs ... I've been watching the Olympics too ... I saw yesterday that the USA runner, Lyles, has Covid but still ran his race and needed help afterwards ... his breathing was pretty bad! ... I'm not sure why he even ran and now those poor medics that helped (and really anyone else around him) have a pretty good chance of getting it ... they were "in his face" close ...

Shout out to cookie ... hope you are doing better, we miss you!! 💐

I had a nice unexpected visit from my girlfriend last night ... haven't seen her in a while so we got caught up on life.

No plans today but, like always, will find something to do!! ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Happy Friday to all!  🤗 😎 It is a bright, sunny, cool morning...👍..70's today...sending your way, Tootie.....maybe you will get this weather in a day or two.  Deeeeelightful!  It was a bit humid yesterday afternoon so by evening I turned A/C on again for sleeping.  But, OFF this morning....let the cool air and dust blow in....haha.  And, there you have the Friday weather report from my corner of the world. 😆

I am concerned about cookie.  It has been over a week now since she first said she was taking a break...not feeling good too....BP high.  Sure hope she is doing better and SCC is back together again soon.  Miss you, cookie! 

kittyfan, the stories about Jake and Holly are such fun.  I can just picture them....most popular four-legged residents. More chapters for your book on Life at SO!   Time for DB to return and check out your tech issues!  Glad you are able to keep things working on your own.

Nice evening at your house, Tootie, with visit from girlfriend.  Good friends never run out of things to talk about.....blessings in life.....can't imagine life without them.

Today is LG's party ... it's going to be a nice, sunny 73 degree day so we'll be able to sit outside and enjoy!!
