DVS here again - I need a rubber stamp!!😄 Did get some compiling done yesterday.  I never though I would be tired of being tired.  We will be 96 today with some 5-10mph winds in the afternoon. Saw a few Longhorns yesterday - of coure Mudpie was right there!  Love that little pony❤

Warm and humid day coming up here today.  It might be an A/C day.  Not as warm as TX though!

Tootie, continued prayers for you to get through the rest of the week.  It will be difficult but, hopefully, give you closure.  She is at rest now where she wants to be with your DF.  

cookie, I laughed, and glad Tootie had laugh too, on comment about possibly kidnapping kittyfan's DB!  Might want to warn him, kittyfan.....be on the look-out for a few crazy ladies and/or some guy in a broken-down-rattle-trap RV! 😉...😆.

😂....more laughs, Tootie, about my "Wild Kingdom" here...DH is on the look-out...haha.

I have a opossum story,  I had a little dog named Fred who had just had high dollar surgery.  My jack Russell named Boodles had chased said varmit up on the porch,  I opened the front doorand slammed it as said opossum was against the door.  Fred had joined the barking fray.  Of course this was early morning. I went out side door and ran around the house,   I screamed at Fred and eventually grabbed him  Stuck him in vehicle until things calmed down  He loved riding so this was not punishment  

LOL:  brother i always on move,  catching him would be a project.  We talked on way home about some characters we worked with.  We have lots of material we can discuss.

Good morning ~  Hello Wonderful Wednesday                                      June 5 2024!

kittyfan, love the opossum story.  We had opossums coming to our back yard when I lived in So. CA  They came in threw the doggie door in the back of the garage.  They looked like giant ugly rats.  They ate the cat food that was up on the shelves in the workshop.  They left never to return.  I feel sorry for them.  I hear they make nice pets.  Not for me but they have a purpose - they eat yucky bugs and little critter things. Hope your apointments went well and you enjoyed the time with your brother.

Tootie,  hope you are relaxing, getting closure and thinking of good memories.  Glad you have some decent weather excluding the humidity! 

We will be 93 with some winds in the afternoon.  Of course we get humidity with that🥵.  It was a beautiful day yesterday but the humidity was horrible. Inside for me. Finished a compiling project yesterday and today will be catching up with UB's!

walker, sorry you had some humidity.  Maybe the opossum's do not like humidity and will leave Wild Kingdom for good.  Laughing at some guy in a broken rattle trap RV.  I kind of miss CE.  He was good for laughs.

Good morning friends ... cookie, yikes! with the opossum coming in through the garage doggie door ... can you imagine if it was into the house?!! ... I often wondered about creatures crawling into someones house 😲 ... enjoy your indoor UB's.

kittyfan, laughing and picturing the chaos with your dogs and the opossum ... I bet you and DB have some good laughs about those characters you worked with ...

walker, we had to turn our A/C on as the heat and humidity is awful (darn!! I forgot to bottle some our 0 degree weather) ... oh yes, I can still laugh at the lighter side of things ... you ladies "take me away ..." 🧡

Good Morning Friends!  ☕️🌦️🇺🇸

I guess we are going to have a mixed bag of weather today...rain this morning but then some sun.  We did have a brief storm blow through during the night.  

🙀... the opossum stories cookie and kittyfan!  Lucky for cookie it was just in garage.....kittyfan...funny about you, Fred and the opossum.  Not cute animals!  When we lived in NC, a mouse got in house from garage and I was alone.  I just about had a heart attack!  I trapped it in dining room until DH got home....guess he put a trap out.  To this day I am cautious about opening door to garage.  

Tootie, thinking of you preparing for a funeral service for your DM.  I think I was in a daze going through it all with my DM.  My neighbor across street just lost her DM last Friday.  Her father passed away last August.  She is from a family of nine children and said she was happy she did not have to handle arrangements.  ((((SCC)))).

Hamburgers and Ice Cream sound good!  😋 Bye for now my friends......take it easy out there....stay cool if possible...😉.  Heat is one thing but the humidity...ugh...did you see high temperatures out west...100's! 😳

A hint for one or more of Tootie's Marvelous Mimosas on the SCC Patio?  Maybe.  We wil be 95 with some 5-10 wind. Very pretty day - a good day to enjoy the patio.  I am having problems with "page not responding" here.  took awhile but finally managed to get on. Annoying and frustrating!

Tootie, hope you are doing well and getting things settled with services. Remember, we - SCC are here for you and offering 🙏🙏🌻 and warm wishes for you and the family.

Good morning friends ... cookie, it's a miserable day here ... raining now and will continue throughout the day ... high of 74 ... DM's wake is later this afternoon and funeral tomorrow morning ... so a couple Mimosas on the patio sounds good!! maybe even more than a couple 😉

walker, yikes! I don't know if I would have been able to trap that mouse like you did, but then again, you really had no choice ... not giving a mouse free reign in your house!! 😁 I will think of this now every time I open my door from the garage.

DH and I are going out to breakfast this morning using a gift card given to us.  Restaurant serves mimosas! 👍 Not sure if I will have one or not but, if I do...I toast 🥂to SCC.
