After the recent ice storm in TX, I am concerned about the grapefruit there.  Any news on the crop?  I better buy more now.

DH and I could not find anything "interesting" on TV last night...😉.  So, we watched the movie Elvis which we missed in theater.  I picked up DVD at the library...win-win...cost nothing!  Anyone see it?  I was never an Elvis fan...sad life....I liked music in movie the best...and thought Elvis actor and Tom Hanks (Colonel) were very good.

Well, time to rock 'n roll here.....hope you all have a good day.  OH....after-thought....Tootie, let us know if SCC needs to help with LG and LS...maybe Cousin Eddie could come too....he would entertain them....🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Years ago I worked with a lady who was a devoted Elvis fan. We worked together when he passed. Lost contact shortly after that.

Had a Dr's apt with primary. Talked about lots of issues. Moving toward habd surgery. Still have things to accomplish.

When we had rhexpolarcvortex and we were snowed in the valley was affected. I dontvthink the ice affected them. I know Dallas area hitched.

I think the grapefruit crop is okay. You should still be able to sample the sweet. Goodness.

kittyfan, glad to hear the Grapefruit crop probably wasn't affected by the ice storm.  I am still longing for one or at least a small piece🤤  Good to hear you may be moving forward with your hand surgery.  It's always issues- more issues!  Hope your birdbath is back into place and the tree mess cleaned up.  What a mess for everyone!!  

Tootie, yes Irish Kerrygold Butter is very good - a little richer than good quality butter here.  Enjoyed it while I was in Ireland and made that my preference when I got home.  Still buy it occasionally just for special treats.  

walker,  Love your comment to Tootie about Cousin Eddie😂  Hope he doesn't get any ideas!  Kids would probably love him - he is so uncomplicated and full of crazy fun.  Keeping my lips zipped🤐 We will have some 72 sunshine today and I will send some North for your and our Queen♛

walker, I did not see the Elvis movie ... and you're so right! there was absolutely nothing "interesting" on the other night ... we watched part of nothing "interesting" and got so disgusted and changed the channel ... laughing at Cousin Eddie helping out with LG/LS ... but I bet LG would love CE's junk heap 😉

cookie, we will have a very mild February day ... high of 56 today, but we will have lots of rain ... maybe your sunshine can chase it away ... and we're supposed to have high winds later tonight into tomorrow morning and our garbage pickup is tomorrow ... we'll wait until the morning to put the totes out ... 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Good to know that grapefruit crop should be ok.  I have four on hand now.  😋 Hope plans go well for the upcoming hand surgery, kittyfan.  Sorry about another poofed post.  Speaking of poofed....some of our cable channels have gone poof...started last night...aggravating!  Guess I have to call the company....ugh....blood pressure will go up!  Nothing simple anymore, eh?

No news this morning..,,HA...literally...my news channel is off the air...maybe that is a good thing...😂....QVC off air on my network too.  Guess I'll read the paper now.

walker, did you get your channels back? and if you called someone, were they able to help you?

I forgot to mention earlier ... LG has not had any issues with his growing pains for the last couple of days ...

Hi there......another day flies by....rainy...no sun for us today.  I did get some chores done.....gotta do what you gotta do once in awhile!!!  Merry Maid forgot to show up..😂.  

We did get our channels back, Tootie.  Maddening for as much money as we pay this cable company!  I was just glad it came back because trying to deal with it on the phone is nothing but Aggravating, Irritating and Frustrating!!  We all know the scene, eh?    

Happy to hear LG is doing better with the growing pains.

By the way, I think of him often....the new refrigerator I have is "LG"...ha!  I just chuckle when I see the LG emblem on refrigerator.  Must be a GOOD refrigerator! 😁

Oh the vanishing channels. We do pay royal prices for the privilege of receiving the programming.

Glad to hear LG is not having pains.

We had a sunny day here. Tomorrow will try to get vehicle inspections tires are new so my big ticket item is complete. This has been a draining month!! Will still need to pay registration fees. They will gather tax documents for CPA. I happily write that check.

I know it gets dark later here than for Tootie and Walker but it seems to get dark quickly. I lost track of tge daylight savings time issue. I do appreciate tge light at the end of the day...
