Hope everyone is prepared for a day of great food and family.  kittyfan, you're right, I am not a Football fan but SIL will have every TV tuned in for sure!  It has become a part of Thanksgiving around here😧 

 A big thank you walker for the recipe.  Sounds very good and very easy. You sure had a very busy day and got everything prepped ahead!  Gold star time✨ Gobble gobble and you wobble😃

walker, you sure did a lot of prep work yesterday ... enjoy the results today 😄 ... and remember to pack everything you need for today ... I have a list going for things to bring to DS's ...

cookie, oh yes, football and Thanksgiving go together ... I can remember when my grandparents would come over ... grandpa and my DF would sit in front of the TV until it was time to eat and then go right back to watching when they were done!

Joined friends. Hostess is a wonderful cook. Her sister and BIK joined us. I had not met them.

Watched part of parade and beginning of dog show.

Came home to watch football. I think all bases were covered.

Good morning ~

I gobble gobbled way too much😮 Now I am wobbling all over.  We enjoyed a great turkey dinner and a wonderful chocolate pecan pie (crushed pecans were the crust ) YUM!!🥰 Of course the TV's were on - Soccer and Football ⚽🏈.  Went to bed early.  UB for me today - a long one!

kittyfn, glad you were with friends and how lucky to enjoy wonderful cooking as well.  I agree, you covered all bases.  Did you get the morning T-Storm with lightning and thunder?  DIdn't last all day.

walker, hope your Thanksgiving day was spectacular!  Enjoy the Lake and family. Have a safe trip home.  See you Sunday.

Tootie, hope you and your family had a marvelous day!  Hope LG and LS enjoyed Turkey day.  Loved the story of your GF and DF! I think men and Football or any other game is inherent 😁

cookie, it sounds like you had a good Thanksgiving too! ... we had chocolate pecan pie too (regular crust thought) but DS put espresso and chocolate morsels in his ... oh, yum!! .. LG/LS had a fun day and both loved the turkey!! LG loves stuffing too!

walker, I hope you had a good day and will have good weather at the lake ...

We'll have another mild 46 degree day with rain ... snow is almost gone now ... we usually use the snowbanks (at the side of the house or in the backyard) to keep things cold at Thanksgiving/Christmas .. like drinks or our side dishes (always in lock and locks!) but this year we had to hunt for snow ... we found a small pile in the yard and stashed our wine bottles and sides 😉😄 Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

I ordered a new shelf unit for my kitchen and it was delivered today ... DH put it together and I did some clearing out of things that I didn't really use/need anymore ...

Lucky you Tootie - a new shelf in the kitchen - and.... DH put it up for you!  Killed two birds with one stone - removed old stuff and a new shelf. Can't beat that - and yes the potatoes were delicious!  walker is definitely a Queen!♛  I am still thinking and smiling about your use for snowbanks - wine bottles and side dishes with L&L containers😄 Clever lady you are.

We had the power go out early (12:02am) this morning.  I know that because my CPAP stopped and no air was coming out the air nodules.  Good thing I was awake - or is that what woke me?  Didn't hear or see any evidence of lightning or thunder and wonder why we lost it for an hour and a half?  Oh well, works now.  We will be 56 and expecting 100% rain.  Yay for rain!  As kittyfan said, we can use the water.

kittyfan, sorry about the weather and your arthritis .  Can be very painful. My G'ma had it the entire time I knew her.   Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving day with your friends.  G'kids always do a Friendsgiving a few days before Thanksgiving.  They have some great friends and some with little ones. Everyone brings a dish and chips in.  I am greatful for these wonderful kids🥰
