No news and no plans here today...maybe I'll think about what I will do tomorrow....ha!  Tonight is the Bobby Flay Show, Tootie....probably 9PM your time.

cookie, I think lunch out with GD and GS is just what you need!!  No more blahs!  I find the humid weather affects me more as I ...(choke)...age! 🥴

Yesterday I headedout for TS. Realized I didn't have my trust cane. Headed back.home. fortunately I had not run over it. Just knocked over. Then I needed gas. Couldn't tell if my station was open. Thought I would go to oanother. All pumps full. Decided to journey on. Had to wait in line to pay. Only pay inside at station. No body at pumps. Got gas headed to TS. Got there to find Jan was there. I was considering calling but Susan and her mom drove up. We all went in. Did my duties. I prefer to go Sunday. Only a few of us
If not Monday morning.

Today got a text. Meeting date change. Oh I am nktbkn that committee. So I dint know. Someone else is. Said if she couldn't I would go. No check with her. Not my rode

Jan was on a diatribe about stuff. Okay you choose to devote your life to the store. Others have duties and responsibilities. I was a bit discouraged by the tone. I know that is the way she views things. But still not conducive to keeping folks involved. I had a long conversation with Susan who is book lady. She said they had a very large donation. 3k books. Still 500 more. Not sure if it was a death or what. Very nice hardback books. We talked books.

Stopped at grocery for a few items. Then headed home was really tired. Ub time. Got a text from quilting lady. No missing you or even how are you--simply someone donated sheets. Fine by me i had decided no go from me.

I did sleep last night. Got up this morning. Very nice morning. Then it heated up. Humidity plus.

Wonderful kittyfan!  You got a good night's sleep.  It's about time.  Hope it is catching😄 Nice donation of all the books - that's a lot of books!  I can relate to the trusty cane - I knock mine over all the time and especially on the hard gravel driveway😒.  I also take my coffee black and strong.  DD has creamer with coffee in it😒 Oh well to each his own.  

Sorry you had such a meserable day Tootie.  You mentioned Bobby Flay show- I completely forgot😒 Blame it on the humidity😄 Had a great day yesterday with the Grands.  We enjoyed some great burgers at Five Guys.  Love hamburgers!  Took a tour of new buildings and homes in the city - UGH - so close together and no personality at all. I liked the old stuff.  Off to the doctor this morning for my regular check-up.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, glad you got some sleep ... ugh, Jan should be careful, she's going to drive people away ... wow, that is a lot of books ... someone must have had a big library!! ... I drink my coffee with a vanilla creamer ... and during the fall sometimes with a pumpkin spice one ... I like trying the different flavors.

cookie, glad you enjoyed your lunch ... burgers! yum!! ... we had those over the weekend ... gotta keep using the grill as long as we can!! ... good luck with your appointment ...

walker, what a sharp looking car your BIL has ... really nice!! and in pristine condition ...

We'll have another gray and rainy day ... high of 72 ... I can hear the school busses zipping by, first day of school here!!

Puttng my feet up (in my Lazy Girl chair...😂)....and checking in to say hi!  How are you doing out there...east of me and south of me!

DH and I went to two stores today looking at appliances.  Had one salesperson who could have cared less if he sold a $10,000 appliance or pack of gum.  Too many choices but I know what I do not want so that helps.  Then space and size will determine.  Stressful shopping.....pass me some...

Had a good visit with the doctor - labs were all very good. Love her, she is a great listener and interested in her patients.  Been going to her for 11 years now.  Home for a UB.  Miserable heat/humidity yesterday 🥵 Today will be cooler at 92 - probably more humidity 🌞

walker, sorry about your unpleasant experience at the stores.  Mind boggling!  There are so many choices!  Glad you got a break in your Lazy GIrl.  Nothing lasts very long anymore - replacements are $$$$.  What in the world??  Wear a crown next time? ♛ 

Tootie hope your weather is better.  It's time to be out on the patio/deck to grill and relax.  

kittyfan, sorry about your sleepless night. That is no darn fun and makes you tired all day (It does for me anyway).  Tonight will be better!!!!
