Hello friends ... we ended up getting our rain this afternoon ... heavy downpour which lasted about 10 minutes ... the temps dropped about 10 degrees and it sunny and windy now ... more rain predicted overnight.

walker, did you end up losing power?

LS starts daycare tomorrow ... they finally had a spot for her ... I'm not sure how it is going to work out as LS is very attached to daddy ... I'm sure there will be tears (and lots of them) ... but she'll do fine.

Hi there.......lucked out this afternoon, Tootie, power stayed on...storm rolled through pretty quick.  It seems to be moving east.  Guess you are getting your share of rain too.

I heard back from doctor about blood test. 👏👏👏She is giving me 6 months and wants another blood test then.  Results looked good except elevated cholesterol.  So....watch diet....exercise, etc, etc.  Good thing I love salads, chicken, fish, etc.  I probably eat more veggies than fruit....soon I'll be called Peter Rabbit.

Finally able to log on.

I love a good salad. I have great cholesterol numbers. Other issues not so great. Had drs apt this afternoon. Sleep study orfered. Thankfully ho.e study. No I don't know if u snore.

Downs kids are so cheerful and sweet. Love the Cafe. Just too fat unless I am traveling.

Oh LS going to daycare. Yes a big adjustment.

Saw weather prediction of another chance of 1 go 3 inches of rain. Some would be nice.

Good morning ~

kittyfan, does the doc think you have Sleep Apnea?  I got diagnosed 10 years ago and have used a Cpap since.  I don't notice any difference in my sleep but continue just in case.  I had the testing  at a place to spend the night with wires and stuff attached to my head in a nice cool room.  Good thoughts for you. 

 ♛walker, glad you got good news on your blood test - except for cholestorol.  Laughing at your Peter Rabbit😄 I have never seen a Rabbit  Queen....  Uh oh I smell a 🐰crown search coming up😂 

Tootie, hard to believe LS is old enough to attend Daycare!  Is daddy going with her on her first day?  Tears go away when they find out how much fun it can be. Hope they get some cute pictures🎀✨

We will be cooler today again with some rain predicted.  Weatherman should get a rubber stamp!😂 I'll take whatever we might get.  Laundry this morning  - early to save the Electric Grid from blowing up!

U - Ugli Fruit  - Tootie😊🌻:    a cross between a grapefruit and a mandarin. It's about the size of a grapefruit but tastes a bit sweeter and has a wrinkly skin that peels easily. This fruit comes from Jamaica and is also grown in the US. Sorry if you already know this, but look at the next letter!!!😄

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, hope all goes well when you do your sleep study ... I know you enjoy going to the Cafe and will always get there when/if you can.

cookie, I never knew how they did those sleep studies ... I don't know if I would be able to sleep with all that equipment attached to me ... LS could have been in daycare sooner but they didn't have room for her ... I'm anxiously waiting to see how she did this morning.

walker, good luck on your journey with your cholesterol ... you can do this 💪 SCC STRONG!! ...

I need a pot of coffee this morning.  Speaking of Sleep Apnea, I had Sleep Insomnia last night....first half of night..toss and turn....finally got up and grabbed another pillow....got to sleep and had to force myself up this morning or "be off track". 😉

Good luck with sleep study, kittyfan.  I have a few friends that have done that like cookie described.  All of them ended up with the Cpap machine.  I'm like you, Tootie, not sure about sleeping like that but you gotta do what you gotta do, eh?  

😢😢😢...LS off to daycare!?? 🫢 🤞🤞...let us know how it goes, Tootie.   It sounds like a good place and LG has done well there.  Will this be everyday? It will be easier for your DS and DIL to work but I bet DS will miss her...ha...he will adjust too! 😊

Hello friends ... we had a rainy, rainy day but it's done with now and we have blue and sunny skies ... at least for a little while yet ... it starts to get dark here before 8 now ... 😕

LS did very well at daycare ... she was a little upset when DS dropped her off but was easily distracted with toys ... she even took her afternoon nap for them ... she will go 3 days a week (like LG) ... with DIL's work schedule (part time) she is always off 2 days a week, so she will be home when they don't go to daycare ... DS said it was a lot different without her around today ... he missed her climbing up his office chair to see him ...😄

walker, I hope you are able to get some sleep tonight.

Tootie, I am happy to hear LS did well today...nap and all.

I think these changes are hard on everyone...including grandparents!  Cute story about DS missing her climbing up on his office chair.  I think your DS deserves an award for juggling job and baby/toddler...LG too.  I assume LS and LG go to same daycare but in different areas?  

No news here.....beautiful day....sun and cool temperatures.

Woke up this morning to a text about sleep study.

Then a phone call. Two consecutive nights. Google it. A small device on wrist and a coed to finger. Lady st TS did stidt last week at hospital. My friend has had a c pap for years. another lady in domino group said she can't sleep eothout hers. I didn't realize she used one.

Thundered all morning. Only a little rain.


Sweet about LS and day care. Know yourv DS .issues her.
