🥱....just got up .....thanks for the coffee....I am beginning to really feel like a bear in hibernation sleeping so long....ha!  We are at 11 degrees and won't go much higher today.  

Goodness, reports everyday of familiar names passing away....now Bob Saget....and Dobie Gillis.

Well, better drink this coffee and wake up my brain...HA...if possible!!!  See you all later.....Happy Monday!  cookie, hope DS's SO is improving.

Hi everyone......just another day in hibernation....and so it goes in winter.  We did have a full day of sunshine which helps A LOT...looking out.  It is so cold the snow on lawns is just a glaze....really looks kind of neat.

DH and I like to work on jigsaw puzzles in winter.  We set them up on dining room table working on it whenever we feel like it.  We did one last week that was fun and pretty quick to do.  But, now we are starting a 2000 piece puzzle...🙄....I asked DH..."are we sure we want to do this one?" He said this will take rest of winter to do.   Not only is it a lot of pieces but it is a picture on warm beach....this could be depressing...😂....look outside..snow...cold...😩...look at puzzle...beautiful warm beach.....😫.....haha!!!   Maybe it will help me feel warmer!

kittyfan, hope you can share Nurse Brenda's COVID thoughts with us.  I am still checking out KN95 masks and am still confused.  I do continue to wear my masks, and would like to hear more info.  

walker, how can you move around if you are frozen?😄  I know it's not funny but I now have a whole new outlook on freezing cold! 

                             

If you can do a puzzle on the warm beach and get warm, let me know if it works and maybe I could do one with a lady loosing weight while UB'ing, reading or doing  puzzles???🤣🤣  

We will be 50 with some rain predicted. Good day to finish the laundry that was not done yesterday.

Good morning friends ... hahaha cookie, that picture is funny and oh so true!! ... everything about this virus is so confusing, I heard on the news that at one of our hospitals over 200 nurses were off with the virus (and they were vaccinated) !! ... I'm with you on the losing weight puzzle ... 😁

walker, speaking of puzzles ... did you see the Pickles cartoon yesterday?? husband worked and finished puzzle except for one piece that was missing ... (wife asks what happened to the puzzle) he says, he searched for hours for a missing piece, couldn't find it so he threw the puzzle out ... wife says "oh, I have the piece here!" ... that's so fun that you and DH work on one ... good luck with yours.

kittyfan, I'm anxious to hear what Nurse Brenda had to say too ...

We're going to have a very cold day here ... it's 6 degrees now and our high will be 19 ...

Happy Tuesday!  Great start here with that cartoon pic, cookie!  😂 So true and very funny!!!  And, if I could magically do a puzzle and lose weight I'd be doing it for sure!  Ha!  Guess I'll be "on the beach" for awhile! 😁

Tootie, I did see that Pickles cartoon 🤣...had a good laugh!  My problem with doing puzzles is DH wants to save all of them!! 🙄 I said we need to take them apart and share them.  We have framed some really good ones...most are in his Man Cave....but, we could be wall to wall puzzles if it was up to him. HA!    I do have two really nice Christmas ones ...one done with QM years ago and one when we had a family Christmas and everyone worked on it.  I did frame those and bring them out at Christmas.

We are at 7 degrees but "might" reach 30 this afternoon. 🤞 I "might" think about a little walk. 😁 I need your Michelin Man suit, cookie!

Anxious to hear more from kittyfan about Covid comments from nurse friend.  Glad you got to bottom of bin with the baby items, kittyfan.  It will probably fill up quick again!

Time to move along.....hope you all have a good day...stay warm and stay well!!  OH...olives on fingers...yes!  But, I never liked them as a child.  Lucky me....look what letter I have.....

Hello friends ... what a good idea to frame some of your puzzles ... you have some fun memories of QM! ... were you able to get out and take your walk?

I found out today that my girlfriends DB is in the hospital with Covid .. he has a lot of underlying conditions but so far he is doing ok ... and he is fully vaccinated.

We had a dreary, light snowy day of 25! Ho hum days of winter!

Hi to everyone.....oh, Tootie, another Covid case..DB of friend...gosh....someone everyday....again...STAY WELL MY FRIENDS!!!  

I did not get out for a walk...pretty bad...have not been out in a week!!  I draw the line...has to be over 32!  Today went by quickly with some chores...and...THE PUZZLE!!  Ha!  DH is good at getting "framing" done (edges)....this one is going to be a challenge!  We have not done a 2000 piece before.  Any bigger and we need a larger table!  

No other news.....just COLD...WINTER...but thankful for good life...warm home..GOOD FRIENDS.....and still well!

I started on several times yonpost.

Oh no more covid news. Yesterday Susan asked Brenda for advice. We have a young lady who is muscle for us. Her mom had tested positive. Brenda said she needed to go home for five days. According to NB the virus is not abating. We ALL need to be cautious. It is with us. Shechad some test kits to give away gone very quickly. I thought the vaccines came ready to use. She said depending on market needed to be prepared. Her family went to Disneyland for Christmas break. Came home all tested positive. Dad first then son. He bounced back quickly. Then daughter and finally wife and other daughter. She cautioned me to be very careful. Particularly at TS and church. I have little contact with others rarely eat out other than an occasion at Cafe and book club. Dominos group are all vaccinated. Her concern with church is so few masking up and close contact. I told her thar so few osvys mask at church. I continue to sir in annex. Shevsaid Dr recommended double mask. She was double asked. She always masked bur double was new bi will take a page from her book and dkublevmask. All our group at TS were masked. Other group.was mainly unmasked. Her recommendation is mask up and limit contact. Her family was all vaccinated and wore masks but still got sick. Thankfully didn't appear to be serious.

So continue caution. Mask up.

I heard from FHG. Said shevis sick. I know shevjs anti vac. But won't hear it from me.

Prayers for those with friends in hospital.

Oh no, more COVID news is right kittyfan!  Thank you for sharing Nurse Brenda's comments.  I think that the KN95 masks are double, triple or more but still confused and plan to search some more.  Sorry to hear about FHG.  

Tootie, sorry about your GF's DB.  The numbers of affected people are escalating so fast!  Good wishes to your GF and family.

walker, I remember 1000 and 2000 piece puzzles.  I did have a large dininng room table, but I also had 9 cats who owned anything and everything in the house😁.  If I did start a puzzle, I had to cover it with a giant piece of felt, then a thick flat cardboard box, and set some heavy things on top.  Of course the little devils found a way to get out some lots of pieces.  You never win with cats!  I went back to 500 pieces or less.  Smaller puzzle, larger weighted coverings. Thankful for puzzles on the computer!  

We are getting warmer - 63/39 today.  My kind of weather!  As you stated so well walker - STAY WELL MY FRIENDS.
