kittyfan, like the others have said, you have been at the TS for so long now maybe it is time to limit your services even more (although I think you enjoy helping out)

walker, glad to hear that your appointment went well too! those are the best kind ... in and out!! ... and do call because they may have a cancellation ... that's how I got my last mammo appointment ... when I called, they just had a cancellation) and I got it within a couple of weeks time ... good luck!

Happy Thursday to y'all.......last day of September...oh my....I feel like I spend some days spinning my wheels going nowhere but....time keeps moving along!

cookie, lucky you....got two appointments done together instead of separate trips. Hope you get good reports back now. I used to watch House Hunters a lot......funny how you get stuck on certain programs to watch...then they get old.

Several years ago I used to watch ....can't think of name now.....but neighbors switched houses and re-did a room.

It was fun to watch....for awhile...ha. Just thought of name....Trading Spaces!

Well, good luck with crowning, Tootie....hope it "fits" you well! kittyfan, will your next "niche" be baby clothes? You are a big help to them no matter what area you work in.

Hello ... taking a UB!! ... my "crowning" went well and now I should be good to go until 2022 as well ...

We're having a very cloudy day and the temp is only 60 degrees ... I think it's a little too early in the Fall Season to be this chilly ... oh well, I guess I have to talk to Mother Nature about this ... hahaha!! like she will really listen.

Hi there......no news from me.....Tootie, glad the crowning went well. Hope your weather warms up a bit. We have been in 70's so maybe it will come your way. Time to get dinner started ...... fixing Chicken Piccata and Spanish Rice tonight....love both. A delicious dessert would be nice but not on menu...🙁....eclairs, pie, cake, ice cream sundae....yum! Oh well....special treat another time. We just don't do dessert usually. Except....DH does have a little ice cream every night. He could eat half a gallon and not gain weight. A couple scoops for me and I gain a pound! 😬

Good afternoon. Dinner sounds yummy. Came home from TS with a gift of a yummy meal. Gal is visiting her sister. She worked with us before when she was here. Italian and boy can they cook. So I had dinner to bring home. Enough for Two days! She is going back Tiesday. We all live working with her.
Said her BIL who is their grillmaster has been out of town. So she ordered barbecue. I picked up tab. It was delicious.
I learned yesterday that one of rhe toy ladies was stepping aside for health reasons. Considered this as an option but when I mentioned to Susan stepping aside she said wait. I know know it is fun. Putting things out. We have been working all year to gather the items. I did consider baby clothes. Don't want to take anyone's spot. May just see how things roll.

Re. Appts. I have had experiences waiting for months or only days. Before Covid I needed ultrasound. Once they got orders I didn't have a wait. I sm sure that was a priority. This time I switched providers. Had a hort t wait but not months.

Ice cream every night. Not fair. I love it but a rare treat.

I don't q said know what it is with some people. Two separate times I was deep in conversation with another to be interrupted. Nothing pertaining to topic. Really!!!

Back again....saw kittyfan stopped in....sounds like you had a good dinner too! Patience needed at TS, eh? Toy department might be fun too. Wait and see. They are lucky to have you...loyal volunteer. And, what is with people whose conversations are so important they interrupt!!? God blessed you with a lot of patience!!

Good morning ~

Oh boy kittyfan! Sounds like a great collection of yummy food! The BBQ grill sounds delicious! You will be in food heaven for a couple of days. My BIL used to make the absolute best Tri Tip and I sure miss it. Brisket seems to be the popular choice around here - good too. So now you are playing with toys at the TS. Baby stuff and toys - both fun and cute. Your loyalty and length of service should make you be able to select any department you want.

walker, your dinner sounded very good. Dessert is so good that it's meant to be eaten first! 😊 Good idea to eat it first - you won't be too full after dinner to have any! 🙃😄😄😋😋 My ex absolutely loved ice cream and could and would eat a half gallon in one sitting! He also loved Klondike bars. Every year one of the kids would get him a case box of them for Christmas and put it in the freezer in the garage. They didn't last long.

Glad to hear your "crowning" went well Tootie. One less thing to worry about.

Oh oh, I hear thunder, time to look out the window and hope it's over later when I have to go get my manicure. We are supposed to get some heavy stuff this afternoon. We'll see - weather here changes instantly.

Good morning friends ... HAPPY FIRST DAY OF OCTOBER!!

kittyfan, you hit the jackpot with that food!! Just think, you won't have to cook or even think about cooking for a couple days!! ... I'm sure you'll decide just what department you want to fit into too ... some people are just downright rude, I guess when they want to say something they don't care if someone else is talking, they just blurt it out ...

cookie, I hope the rain holds off until after you get your manicure ...

walker, your Chicken Piccata sounds good, I'm not a fan of Spanish Rice ... your DH is so lucky that he can eat ice cream and not gain any weight ...

It's October and we have two birthdays this month ... cookie the 8th and kittyfan the 11th ... what do you ladies think ... shall we plan on doing two separate Birthday Bashes down in Texas? or one big one?

Happy Friday! Happy October! Happy Birthday month for cookie and kittyfan! Tootie, you are so good at remembering the dates! We can bring the party to them...up to our birthday gals......QA goes anywhere....ha! Birthday TX style....means we should grill right? Everything BIG, BIG, BIG! Hope that won't mean BIG trouble too...😂.

I just heard on news that Austin TX police will not be answering non-emergency calls....😳....here we go....good luck to residents there. I think cookie and kittyfan are outside that area?
