At TS today. Another good daaay. You may remember me sharing about a friend who lost her son and then h her weeks later her daughter. She ha back d stayed with her sister last year. She went home just as Covid hit. She is back visiting. She worked with us T TS then. Back again. Love having her. She said she really hadn't been  a r ounf lots of folks this trip. TS is a respite for her. She said her sister was planning a memorial service for next month. Small group. Onl u family and a few close friends. 

She said that airfare is through the roof. Finally found a direct flight. One way ticket more than RT in past

Cookie:  I know people who got Vax after Covid. I definitely would discuss with your doc. 

Tomorrow lunch with ladies I worked with. Ten years and we still stay in touch. Vovif stopped us do first gathering in a long time r.

Good morning ~  I anxiously await the latest Lucy and Desi episode!  A good laugh is wonderful in the morning!  

kittyfan, how nice you had such a great visit with your friend.  Hope she is doing well and glad that the TS is a respite for her.  Let's hope Chatty Cathy and Nosey Rosie don't ruin things.  How is the Cafe?  

Tootie and kittyfan, thanks for your input on the testting, vaccinations, etc.  I am planning to discuss this with my doc on the 7th when I go in.  I will still wear my mask!!!  Safety first.

We will be 87 - again with some breezes.  Cleaning ladies came yesterday and what a difference!!!  Felt so much better.  They are such nice ladies🌺🌼  Regaining what little energy I had before COVID and that's good.  No more coughing, I think it's gone!!! Still taking advantage of UB's!

Hi walker ...

We went over to see LG last night ... he was so excited to see us and was running all around their family room ... he tripped and landed face first onto the coffee table!! I thought for sure he put his teeth through his lips, but luckily he just caught his chin ... no blood, just a big red mark. He was very cautious around the table after that.

We'll have a sunny and cooler day ... high of 66! Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Hi friends!  🇺🇸🌴☀️

Lucy and Desi made it to Florida!  Stopping to see friends in Panama City Beach gave both of us needed "space" with other people.....the redhead and hot headed Cuban can't bicker with friends...haha!  We had a really good time with them....he was DH's best man....nice to keep in touch.   His wife is a really good cook and guess what she made us for breakfast before we left this morning??  QUICHE!!!!!  It was deeeeeelicious!  

Back on road after breakfast.....geeeez...feel like I have been traveling for a week but I've only been gone four days!  Happy to be in one place for 4 days/5 nights.  Traffic coming into Orlando was bad but made it here safely...only one argument today but I looked out my window rolling my eyes a lot!!  DH hurt his knee before we left and it has been bothering him....which means he is crabby!   I feel like I have been traveling with Chester from Gunsmoke! Hobbling along.....he is not a good patient!  I need to get him home to bang on his conga-bongo drum!!!  At least here he can hang with our DS and do things.

What a shock when I saw my two grandsons today!  They both have gotten taller and more mature looking....and good looking....wow!!!  Great to see whole family again.

Graduation tomorrow and it is HOT here!!!  High 90's!🥵

program is at 7:30...outside ..and we have to go early...hope I can stand it...will take water with me.  Should be tolerable after 7pm...I hope.

Well, very tired so time for 😴....glad you are all doing ok...will catch up later.....so glad you are better, cookie.  Tootie, sorry to hear about LG!  Glad his fall wasn't worse.

Good morning ~  Feeling better but Sciatica kicked back up - oh well, if it's not one thing, it's another.  

Walker, wear some really cool clothes for the graduation outside - the humidity is awful down here and probably therre as well.  It will be 84 and scattered showers - UGH!  The hottest part of the day is usually from 4-7pm around here. Sounds like the G'sons are some good looking young men.  Enjoy the graduation and family.

Tootie, sorry about LG and his face plant on your coffee table.  Poor guy, glad he is okay.

It is like a fall day here ... very windy. We have those whirly birds/helicopter seedlings falling from the trees and it looks like it is snowing!! ... our high for today is 48!! what?? and rain all day!! ugh!

I automatically started to write in Good MORNING Friends....habit!  DH says knee is feeling better....thank heavens....or is it just being here makes him feel better....whatever works for ya, Desi!  😂 

DIL bought me a special water bottle with a fan that blows a cool mist.  That should help this evening.  🤞 We are all going over early with GS to avoid parking problems.  Taking a little cooler with us and we will picnic before ceremony.  Dressing as cool as possible.

Good Q, Tootie!  See you all later or tomorrow.  Any special plans for the holiday weekend?

Hi walker!! ... what a good idea your DIL had with the fan with the mister on it ... enjoy your picnic before the graduation ceremony ... parking was always a big issue but I think you got that covered by going early ... have fun!

I wish I could have some of your hot weather right now ... we've had a miserable, chilly, rainy day ... all day long!!

The weekend weather isn't supposed to be that great here ... we're planning a cookout here on Monday ... weather permitting.

Good morning ~  Glad your DH's knee is better walker.  No reason to have a grumpy "Desi" around.  Love the spritzer bottle idea!  The humidity is awful and you will get a lot of use from it .  

Tootie, you can have all of our 86+ rain weather, including the humidity.  I drove down to get my manicure and all of a sudden buckets of rain!!!  Couldn't see much, and  it finally stopped after about a mile.  Warm rain???

On the plus side, everything is a beautiful green. 

A cookout sounds great Tootie!  Hope the weather cooperates.  We will be celebrating my oldest GS's birthday - he will be 32 - yikes!  Where has the time gone????  He wants to go for stuffed Lobster Tails - Good luck with that - in this weather, we'll eat at home!  Maybe SIL can roll up the grill on the patio and give us a treat???
