Hello ... we had a rainy on and off kind of day ... I finally decided that today would be a good day to go through some of my boxes of art work/cards that I saved from the kids ... first of all I have no idea why I saved them as it looks like I saved every piece of paper they ever brought home!! 😏😮 I took pictures on my iPad (of the ones I thought were really cute) and will get rid of the actual paper .. I guess I followed in my DM's footsteps as she had some of my "artwork" saved and gave it to me when I moved out ... umm, what am I going to do with this?? and I'm sure my kids will wonder the same time ... it's hard to get rid of them but at least I have them on my iPad.

walker, I hope you have a good morning with Buddy ... I'm trying to envision the car trip to your DS's after school ... enjoy your wine ..

Hello Friends!  Getting here a little earlier this evening after a nice day outside. DH and I normally relax on Sundays but it was a good day to take our Dyson's outside, take apart and wash them. 

@Tootie15  - Reading your last post brings back memories of me doing the exact same thing.  I saved more than just artwork but stuffed animals, so many trophies, framed brackets, pictures, ribbons, albums of their achievements, newspaper articles .....just so much more.  They got everything I saved and what they did with all of it was up to them. 

Yes, we are thankful to get a specialist that is totally the opposite of what DH had.  He is really looking forward to the new female ENT.  There is no cure for Meniere's but maybe she can help him in some way.

@walker- All of you that post here, post something every day and are accustomed to coming here every day but I'm not.  I'll do my best to get here as often as I can but from everyone, that post here you are okay with it.  That's great!  

@cookie5  - hey, I didn't know about the shortage of ketchup.  I think that has to be the "first" and I wonder if Heinz is included with the shortage. 

You mentioned your aunt had Meniere's and you have some balance issues.  Do you think you have Vertigo?  It is a symptom but the worse is pressure and pounding headaches (like a migraine) and tinnitus also.  Did you ever read about Meniere's?  It's interesting reading!

@kittyfan- hey thanks for the shoutout!  Definitely, DH lucked out getting a good doctor.  Sorry to read you had reactions to the shot.  It's weird how some people have side effects and others don't.

Good morning ~  Nice to see you "early" MissMadi.  Another memory packer here.  I finally had to let go of 90% of the stuff, the rest is in storage($$) Time to release it all.  I still have some emotional cement around though😉😥  Regarding Meniere's, I don't have any symptoms you mentioned, just an occasional balance issue.  Will read up on Meniere's -  thank you.

I think the ketchup shortage was the individual packs at restaurants.  I've heard a few different stories on this, so we'll see.  Just as long as they keep the big bottle of it!!!  Ketchup lovers unite!

Tootie, you did exactly what my G'son suggested to me and even offered to spread out the photos, etc on the bed and start clicking! 😊 It's the getting out all the stuff and organizing that is painful.  

Grand opening of DDC today walker?  Will you be passing out doggie bones and treats?  Haha.  Hope Buddy likes his toys and leaves your stuff alone.  Good luck with that!  DD's dogs have more toys than Toys R Us ever did but they come back to the furniture and anything else chewable.

We will be 87 today and expecting rain showers in the evening.  Crazy weather.

Good Morning Friends!  🇺🇸⛅️

DDC is now open!  🐕‍🦺  So far so good but it has only been one hour...ha!  He loves his new toys.  He seems calmer but I guess it is because he had a busy weekend with family home. DH getting ready to take him for his first walk.  Then I quickly get dressed while he is out of here....HA..yes, just like having a toddler....timing is everything and keep your eyes on the moving object..😂 Not sure about driving him home either, Tootie.  🤞 Stay tuned.....

cookie, I understand your sadness with DS leaving.  Sure was nice he could come for a visit.

MissMadi, always nice to see you....love cute pics too....but, check in when you are able to do so doesn't have to be daily.  I usually check in everyday because of friendships here....it has been several years for cookie, Tootie and myself...my/our morning routine...then kittyfan joined group...she is our busy 🐝...and, like you, stops in when she can with news.  Great group of fun and caring friends....glad you joined us.

By the way, kittyfan, I think of you and cookie when I pick up my TX grapefruit.  It was slim pickins' this past week....must be result of the winter weather you had there.

Wonder how the place you mentioned....Pittman (?)...is doing.

Success!!!  Got Buddy home without a problem.  He has never been in my car so needed coaxing to get in but he did it.  He was good today.  Boys got home from school and I hung out with them for awhile.  Funniest thing....I went into bathroom to wash my hands....noticed note on door "keep closed"....so, washed my hands...went out and shut the door.  A short time later I was looking for Buddy....no Buddy!  Boys sprang into action looking inside and out......then whimper-whimper....one of the boys found him in the bathroom!!!  HA!!!  That will teach him to follow me!  I never saw him come in behind me.

You must have inspired me, Tootie, with your clean-out project of kids artwork, etc.  Memories, memories.  I decided to clean out my recipe file box and the one my mother had.  I got rid of some of my "this sounds good to fix" recipes but never did try.  I have gone through my mother's box before but cleared it out today...most of the recipes were duplicates of what I have so got rid of some. I found her card for Cherries Jubilee...ha!  Kept that one for sentimental reasons.  

Well, all for now.  cookie, thinking of you as your DS leaves....once a mom always a mom...we like our birds near us.  😟  Tomorrow will be better.

Good morning ~  Love the Buddy story walker 😂😂 - they do follow you around which can be fun or frustrating!  Sounds like Buddy is fitting right in at his private DDC and you have a new job!

Tootie, if you continue with your clean out projects, you are going to shame the rest of us to do the same!  It's easier doing it than actually packing it up to "donate" to your kids.or worse, taking it to the trash. You are an inspiration!

DS left last night at 6 for his pm flight home.  I sure enjoyed having him around as did everyone.  He and the G'kids get along well.  My oldest GS is so much like him!   Sad to say goodbye 😥  

After a very warm -90 yesterday, we will only be 74 today.  I will be doing the Moanday chores and Ub'ing afterwards.

walker, how funny that Buddy followed you in the bathroom and then you locked him in ... 😄 now you have to watch your (and his) every move ... make sure he's not behind you when you turn around and you trip over him ... is the Daycare opened today??

DDC OPEN! 🐕‍🦺  Love the sign, cookie!  I should print that out and hang it up...ha!  No DDC Weds/Thurs...maybe Fri.

Buddy sleeps in his doggie crate every night.  DIL does not want him to be in it all day too which I understand....and, no way could Buddy be on his own in the house!!  😱 Someday though!   DS will be home next two days.  I am lucky....especially Buddy...that he was just a puppy when the Covid shutdown happened last year.  Then the family was home to take care of him...whew!  

Good to think "see you later" like Tootie suggested, cookie.  It is sad to say good-bye.  I guess that is why my MIL always said "bye for now"!!  I like that one too and use it....even here.  Sometimes I break out singing....Happy Trails to you....til we meet again....Roy Rogers?

So with that said....I will say Happy Tuesday and Bye for now!  😁  WUFFFFF.......WUFFFFF...🐕‍🦺
