cookie....snow in TX...wow...now that you have seen it...it can go away, right?  HA!  Sure hope people are staying home.  We are used to it in the north and have equipment for treating roads.  But, I still prefer to stay home.  I feel like a bear....in my cave sleeping...😂.

Thanks for info on book...sounds interesting.  

No other "Bear News"...bye for now.

P.S. Checking back in after hearing news of TX weather..snow and power outages.  Thinking of you cookie and kittyfan...hope all is ok.

Hello ... I'm with you walker, hibernating through the winter. cookie, the snow can be pretty as long as you don't have to venture out in it ... and since you have snow now, maybe, just maybe, you can go out and get the experience of making snow angels ... lay in the snow and move your arms and legs about and you'll have a snow angel ... ⛄🧚‍♀️ ... 😄  seriously, enjoy the snow from indoors.

Good morning ~  We are 3 degrees right now and maybe go down to -1.  No thanks.  As you said walker, I've seen the snow, now go away!  Can't do laundry (uh oh, no more 24 hour laundry! 😒)  The pipes that service the washer are frozen.  So now we'll be wearing dirty clothes AND cold?  At least the Propane guy was able to get around and delivered our propane so we can shower and then put on cold dirty clothes.  GO AWAY SNOW!

Tootie, I made snow angels when I was young and liked snow.  CA did get some snow when I was 7 years old.  Loved it.  My dad made sleds out of trash can lids and we had a great time.  If I got/fell down in this snow, I wouldn't be able to get up!  I'll take the heat and humidity over the snow!

Good morning friends ... oh no cookie, that's another thing I never thought of ... when it gets cold in the South the pipes may freeze ... I hope that all works out for you! ... laughing at your showering and then putting on dirty clothes 😄 I didn't realize that you had seen snow before ... and here I am telling you how to make snow angels 😏 how clever to make sleds out of garbage can lids ... I bet you did have some fun!!

We got about 6 inches overnight and it is supposed to snow all day ... our high is 23 which is where we are at ... cookie, you are really, really cold ... stay warm and enjoy your UB's

This winter just KEEPS ON GIVING ...to everyone! 😡

We got about 4-5" of snow overnight ....may have more coming.  But, good news here is we are going to be in 30's next week!!!  Whooopeeee....above freezing?  Ahhh, the little warm-ups make us so happy and hopeful....SPRING a will come!!  🌷🌷

cookie, I forgot too about pipes freezing!  Not something you think about in TX!  That can be a serious problem...good luck.  At least you have power.  Hope kittyfan is ok.  As bad as it gets in north, it is worse in south where it is not expected.

Tootie and MissMadi stay home and be warm...watch the pretty snow fall....🙄...and fall...and.....or make snow angels?  😂

Hello ... DH spent his lunch doing the snowblowing ... usually he likes it but not when he is on a time restraint 😀 ... and it is still snowing here ...

I saw that thread on freezing pipes too ... I remember as a kid we had that happen once but luckily they didn't burst ... we had to keep the cabinets door opened and leave the water "trickling" from the faucet ...

Checking in....no news from TX gals....this severe weather is so hard for that area....hope we get updates tomorrow and our friends are ok....am sure they will be but no power, freezing pipes, etc....not good....heard temps will rise soon for them...a good thing!

Tootie, your DH must have done the zoooom snow blower job!!  Whatever it takes even if he had to give up some of his lunch time!!

Good morning ~ We are only 30 right now and should stay there all day.  Hope it continues to get warmer. We lost water pressure last night and it is still low this morning.  Thankful we have power and heat!

I am impressed with your DH Tootie.  Snow blowing during lunch!!!!  I guess it's something to do and useful as well.  If he gets really bored, send him to TX - we have had enough!!

Another day of reading and hybernating.  It has been a funny week.  Feels like Sunday every day.  SIL started up all the vehicles yesterday afternoon.  They were blanketed in snow and we need to protect the engines. This weather is supposed to get better this coming weekend.  Can only hope.

kittyfan, how are you doing?  Hope you are getting some well deserved sleep if you are hybernating at home.

Good morning friends ... uh oh, no cookie and still no kittyfan? I wonder if they lost power ... and I really hope that their pipes are giving them problems ... Hope you are both ok.

It finally stopped snowing and today we'll have a high of 23 but we "may" see the sun ... but another storm is brewing for tomorrow into Friday ... winter!! 😩

DH did the zoooom job yesterday ... we also have a fire hydrant out front and he digs that out ... since the plows came through last night, it needs it again!! (and so does the driveway ..) there has to be a better for the town not to plow the driveways in ... 😏

Not much else going on ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.
