A little late today.....had to get DH out the door.  He is headed out to lake house for day to take care of....what else...THE LAWN...ha!

He helps DS out when he can't do it.  Easy drive and he doesn't mind doing it.  Kiss-Kiss Bye-Bye ...have nice day!

kittyfan, sorry to hear about the passing of your aunt recently.  It must be so hard on people in homes wondering why they don't have visitors....harder on families unable to visit them too.  Sure glad I do not have to worry about QM now.

Good decision for TS on donations.  People should certainly understand.  

Tootie, glad you are enjoying those bike rides.  Great way to relax and unwind at end of the day.  If it was me, I would be looking for an ice cream shop along the way too....😅🍦👍.....stop to refuel for trip home!!

Good morning ~  walker, Tootie, I feel a contest coming on - Who has the greenest lawn?  Is it fair that your DH has 2 lawns to enter walker?  Twice as green?  Tootie send your DH down here, we have 5 acres he can green up to his heart's content!

So nce that you are able to enjoy the outside and ride bicycles and see actual people Tootie.  Is everything green where your DH rides?  I picture him secretly dropping fertilizer on the path to green it up. 😂

Sorry about your aunt kittyfan.  It's hard enough losing a loved one, but in this time of COVID19, harder when you cannot pay your respects.  Hope you enjoyed your cheesecake - I'll bet it was delicious.  Maybe we should induct your friend into the SCC Court as the official chef?

Good morning friends ... hahaha cookie!! I think in our DH's view it's all about the green or at least showing no signs of browning grass ... I guess the lawn care keeps them happy

Our schools here are still scrambling to get the year planned (actually today is the deadline) ... every time a plan is submitted either the teachers or parents complain ... I certainly wouldn't want to be in their shoes and really don't know what I would want to do if I had kids in school ... the Catholic/Private schools are all set and will go 5 days a week.

We'll have another nice day but a little warmer .. high of 84.

Good Morning Friends!  🇺🇸😷

On early today!! 👋👋😄 Up early....no paper....but coffee and friends...who needs the news?  More fun with friends!

DH arrived home tired....makes a long day..told him he should take a UB (ha) before he drives back!  Fortunately, DS has a riding mower there so that sure helps....a lot of property to mow.  

My kiddos do start school next week...🙏🤞...hope all goes well.

GS and GD will just have e-learning at home starting Thursday. My 3A's go to Catholic school ....start Monday....5 days!  I'm glad I don't have to deal with it too, Tootie.

I think some of the TX heat is coming north....hot days ahead so enjoy your nice weather, Tootie, it might be coming your way next.

cookie, has it been too hot to grill there?  Your B reminded me of it...I know you love those.

No plans today except run to store....better do it early.  See you all later.

NATIONAL SENIOR CITIZENS DAY

Raising a toast to all the lovely ladies!!!

Train was interesting. Lunch was a delicious quiche. Cheesecake was yummy. My impetus was the group has a number of August BDs. They would go go cheesecake Factory. So we did cheesecake

There were six of us. Nice group. But one lady talked nom stop. Not sure when she ate! When I got on the car remarked to my friend that I thought our friend who had passed talked a lot but boy howdy she talked nom stop. She rarely joins us so I hadn't been around her a lot. When we got home another lady texted to say the same thing!

I had taken four puzzles last month. Our hostess kept two. She proudly shared her efforts. One puzzle was really difficult. Kitties. No edges. And extra pieces. She has it almost complete. Brought her another. Will keep an eye out.

As we left she mentioned how much she enjoyed the company. Five of us livr alone and this has been tough for various reasons.

Frridays is usually Café day. Will visit on Sunday. Hope they still have specials.

Glad you enjoyed your Train get-together except for Chatty Cathy!

Funny!  I don't understand how people do that and don't realize they are monopolizing conversations.   I have one friend who talks a lot!  DH always knows when I am on the phone with her because I am not saying anything!!!
