Big pharmacy companies. What a racket. Glad to hear your daughter is back to work. I know she was anxious.

I also dislike this auto correct.

Yesterday we used GPS to find building. Sent us between service, station and McDonald. Well back we go. Finally found it. Artist rendering diidnt look anything like, building!

Building was older and they had rebuilt it completely. Lovely and very bright and cheerful. They sent out some pictures. I had not seen his son in years and never met the DIL. They were, beaming with pride. His wjfe---not so much. I knew, her although I hadn't seen her I. Many years. She,is,very retiring and looked as if she wanted to be a anywhere else!!!

Wind is blowing temps to drop.

Good afternoon! kittyfan don't you just miss the old Thomas Guides? SO much easier in my humble opinion. Love your U! Tootie, did you ever get your Nativity out of the ground? If not, how about a Nativity Removal BAT? Baby Jesus is cold! Windy here this afternoon. Dogs are loving it, me not so much as it is only 59 and feels much colder. Hope to see you all tomorrow! Hello ... ahhh kittyfan, "the good old GPS road that leads to nowhere" ... we've had that happen to us too!! but glad that you finally got to where you needed to go ...

We broke a record today ... we made it up to 61!! ... so cookie, yes, I was able to get my Nativity and my snowman out ... all of our snow is gone, except for the big piles from the snowplows ...but tomorrow, we are expected to get 8 - 12 inches ...

walker, hope you had a good day ...

See everyone in the morning ..

We had a heat wave here today too.....56.....but, wow, 61 is great, Tootie!  And, you got the nativity out plus your snowman...good news.  You won't need the SCC!  You must have Christmas 2017 all packed up now.  Good luck tomorrow with the snow!  No snow here just cold!

Our 56 is falling rapidly though and, due to some light rain, we may now have some ice problems.

cookie......one weekend you were missing and ...of course....we could not have a BAT without you...so, Tootie and I decided to wait until mid-February for our next BAT.  We will celebrate Valentine's Day and spread our love around the community.  After all the trouble we "seem" to cause, it is the least we can do, eh?

kittyfan.....I liked the U too....perfect for us!  And, what was with the wife of your friend being honored?  What a stick-in-the-mud sourpuss!  Maybe she thought her name should be on building too!

Have a good evening.......rest and recharge....see all of you in the morning!

Good morning friends ... 57 degrees now but temps dropping later this morning along with rain then ice and snow moving in ...

Christmas 2017 is all packed away for another year ... the snow that I had to climb through to "attempt" to get the decorations out on Wednesday was all gone yesterday and they came right out of the ground ...

kittyfan, I agree with walker, the wife of your friend sounds like she was mad at the world ...

Haircut this morning and then back home to hibernate from the storm ... heading out of here in case cookie is able to get on ... see you later ...

Have a good day .... coffee's ready!!

Good Morning Friends!

No cookie yet....well, she is getting closer to the new Ethernet date!  Should be smooth sailing next week.....we hope so for cookie!

Yesterday in 50's...today....20's....you never know what winter will bring!!!  Hope your weather doesn't get too bad, Tootie.  I did not wake up to the ice I thought we would have here.

This afternoon I am going to be a "Mystery Reader" in GD's 1st grade classroom.  Hope this goes well.  The teacher gives class clues about reader to see if they can guess who it is.  Wonder if my GD will guess.....will let you know.

Bye for now.....leaving coffee pot on for cookie, kittyfan....others?

Happy Friday!

Good morning ~  I posted early this morning - or I thought it did.  Site would not let me out and who knows what else happened.

The new router arrived yesterday and now the old one seems to be a lot better, but will be replaced.  Hopefully GS can do it Saturday.

It was 29 outside this morning and we will be enjoying 49 later.  The yard is white with ice.

walker, your Mystery Reader sounds like fun!  The kids will love it.  I love the no BAT until February.  This will give SCC a lot of time to stock up some "love" for Tootie's PD and Mr. Briefs.

GS and his wife are taking me on a Mystery date Saturday. They think I need to get out more.  I have become a homebody in my old age.

Thanks for the coffee ~

Oh what fun. Mystery readers and mystery date

Thank goodness the wind stopped. I made a trip past thrift store to pick. Up donations. After many attempts finally made connection. I kept saying I can't get in to drop this off. Had more than I could take. Sunday to get last books. Some people. She told me a month ago she was moving. Parking lot is a,work in progress. Thankfully not my project

To arify my friend and his wife are opposites. She is an articulate lovely successful women. Worked many years in a top.company as a manager
I had interaction with her a few times over the years. Her DH is a bubbly outgoing people pers9n. I told my friend, she had never met her, and that she was reserved and very proper. Which she is. My friend Richard and I have shared much joy and tkears over the years. Even though me May not talk often (More recently since he retired) we just pickup.

Our temps have dropped to 36 (from 57 this morning) ... it has been raining all day ... now we're waiting for the sleet and snow .... ugh!!

Have a good afternoon ...

Re: Thyme For Fun!

[ Edited ]

Job done!  Success!  I had a great time with GD's class.  I did not hear teacher give clues but GD did guess me.  She gave me a big hug when I walked in which was cute.  My DD went along too.  I ended up reading two books.  One was called The Napping House about a 'granny' trying to take a nap....ha....fitting, eh?  The other book was called It's Your Cloud about looking at clouds and imagining what they look like.  Then the class asked me questions......what is your favorite color, what do you like to eat, where do you live, etc, etc.  At the end the class all gave me hugs!!!   I would go back anytime.....1st grade...still cute...ha!

Hope your weather does not get too bad, Tootie.

cookie, how cute that you are going on a Mystery Date with GS and his wife!  Sounds like fun.  Let us know where you go.

kittyfan, maybe I misjudged your friend's wife....sounds like she is just very reserved and doesn't show much emotion ....they say "opposites attract"......

Bye for now.......have a nice evening.......glad we are giving Tootie time out of the kitchen for awhile. You have cooked up a storm for us at our BAT get-togethers.
