Good afternoon. Day two of thrift shop move. I went to new store to drop off and out again. Busy working. Went back to old store. Helped load up and up. Then we went to DQ for lunch. Other workers there. Heard we are running out of display space---color me surprised NOT! All suggestions to have a giant moving dale were ignored! That would be sale. I think we could cloth every man, woman and child in Texas! And give them knick knacks! I am thinking we are already out of space-/and not moved in.
Out of there for rest of week-/don't need my input. Spent today sweeping up three years worth of dust and dirt revealed when things moved out!

Was supposed to go to bunco with a friend. I cancelled due to. A sore throat and the weather. Actually am enjoying the rain and Thunder.

walker, that's ok ... glad you enjoyed the cake!! it was just that kind of a day ...

Hope everyone had a good day ... windows opened all day (and still are) we are at a comfortable 67 ....

Kittyfan, can almost visualize all you are going through with Thrift Shop move......need SCC this weekend? HA!

Speaking of this weekend.....is this our October birthday BAT...🎂🎉.....ummm...bigkat?   Anyone else?  I will be there starting at P.D. with coffee and doughnuts!  After that many mimosas to whatever we celebrate.  

No news from me....nothing exciting......see you in the morning!

Good morning ~  Birthday BAT - kittyfan, bigkat? and me.  Good idea walker - to start the celebration at the PD.  Maybe they have some officers with an October birthday?  Blue donuts and Mimosas? (to "honor" the PD)

kittyfan, rest up!  You do so much for the shop without proper recognition by your co-workers.  Too much stuff and too little cooperation.  I sure enjoyed the thunder and rain yesterday but it was over too fast.  No more predicted this week.

Ahhh, the dentist this morning.  I really should set up my own space there.  Have some errands to do while I'm out, then back for a UB.  Envious of your open windows!  Still too hot here - 85 and muggy.

Our Birthday BAT is for cookie and kittyfan ... while we can certainly celebrate bigkat again (because you know we love to party ...) we did hers and mine in September ... look out PD here we come ... BUT our Queen is coming bearing gifts!!

Another nice, breezy and warm day ... high of 75!! ... possible showers later on around dinnertime ...

No plans today except to catch up on things I didn't get done yesterday as I spent time with DM ...

Good Morning Friends!

Queen is so confused.....ha, nothing new......but, the days/weeks/months flew by so fast I forgot dates, etc.  OK....yes, fun time in September celebrating bigkat and Tootie birthdays.  October.....cookie and kittyfan.....ok, got it (I think....until I forget...ha)!   Hope I remember mine in November....remind me....LOL! 

Good idea to celebrate any officers birthdays too, cookie....how about a Doughnut Cake?  We could offer mimosas.....hmmmm????  Maybe not!

OK....back to real world......not much I have to do today but get organized for trip next week.  DH and I are heading west on Route 66.....on my bucket list...Grand Canyon.  I will keep in touch when I can unless I fall off a cliff somewhere.  Hoping to see Balloon Fiesta in New Mexico too.  Has anyone been to that?

Oh walker, it sounds like you have a fun trip planned ... and darn it, you'll miss my DD by a week!! I was going to have her look for a "lady wearing a crown!" .... She is going to visit my niece in AZ the next week after you will be there and one of their trips is to the Grand Canyon ... how cool it would have been if you were both there at the same time ...

I've never been to the Balloon Fiesta ... that too sounds interesting .... I think I might get my Hot Air Balloon ready, gather up the SCC and crash it ... think they'll notice us??

Small world that your DD is heading to AZ too!  I have never been so looking forward to it.  DH has been planning this adventure for awhile....hope we have good weather.  And....ummmm....had to chuckle on your comment about the Balloon Fiesta.....get your hot air balloon ready "gather the SCC and CRASH it".......oh dear.....I knew what you meant though!

Well, I am so good at wasting time I have not accomplished much today.....but not over yet.....away I go.....off my duff as they say!

I just got home!  The dentist and her assistant were introduced to the Grand Canyon in my tooth!!!  Thankfully, it didn't need a crown.  Pick up my meds and came home for a UB - not yet.  

Don't worry Tootie, your DD will see the evidence that Queen was there.  She always leaves her "mark".  I agree with walker, get out your balloon and give them a real treat!  If you need help, you know who and where we are:  SCC to the rescue!
