Good Morning Friends!

Thanks for the soup recipe, Tootie.  It sounds good to me.  I will give it a try and see if I can fool DH with the spinach in it.  I am a soup and salad gal.....he is a meat and potatoes guy.  But, he will try anything....just happy to be fed...ha!  

The costs of some prescriptions today will raise your blood pressure!  That is a significant difference, cookie.  Big money in meds!  

I better get breakfast.....wish it was quiche.....have a dental appointment this morning....joy, joy!  See you later.

Oh those prescrip's can be outrageous! Major problem in our country.

I love soups and salads also, so does DH, kids won't eat soup. I did get spinach in them last week in stuffed shells, I just told them the green was herbs, they still don't know it! (I can't sneak anything past them)

The soup sounds great Tootie!

S- Sausage Tortellini Soup, alot like Tootie's but has Italian sausage and can of tomatoes and the pasta is tortellini, so good!!

I had to log on to say I laughed at bigkat sneaking spinach in her pasta shells but told kids it was herbs!  HA! Whatever works....herbs close to spinach....funny.  Tortellini Soup sounds like a good one too.  I saw Pioneer Woman recently and she fixed a quick Tortellini Soup....I need to look it up for exact ingredients.  Winter is not over.....need more soups!

Good morning!! .... I had to laugh with walker too ... and just think, we probably fell for that when we were little too!! ... Tortellini soup sounds good too ... and I enjoy Pioneer Woman and her recipes too ....

We will have another mild day ... high of 33 with flurries!

Good morning! Walker, I enjoy your spring optimism!

The recipe I make is not Pioneer Womans, that one is a little different. The one I make is called Rustic Sausage Tortellini Soup, even Taste of Homes site has it, they all seem to be similar, but I use reg. Italian sausage, a lot of the recipes use turkey sausage. I also add 🍅 tomato paste for depth and I add a can of cannellini beans. It is very filling! Next I want to make a potato leek soup, anyone make that before?

We had about 2 inches of snow over night, just enough to make it icy again.

Just back from getting my annual mammogram....always fun!!

Cross that off my list and hope results are normal.

Now it is time for a quick UB before I go to meet the Three Amigos bus.

Hello everyone ~  Had to get going early this morning.  Took DD to work, then to doc for quarterly check up.  Lost 3 lbs. Any amount is good, but on me that would b the quivelant of 3 eyelashes!  Welove Tortellini soup as well.  Make it differently every time.  

Caught up with kitchen chores,now time for UB's!  Today is gorgeous- 55 but seems like Spring.  Weekend will be75-80.  Great UB weather!
