Hello friends and welcome to our newcomers here...........sorry I missed the BAT today Tootie. I just returned from our quick trip to see QM. We are suppose to get a lot of snow tonight and tomorrow so I am happy to be back. Thanks for good wishes for safe travels.....clear sailing both ways! Our visit went very well. QM looks great and says she feels great too. The Residence has been remodeling the dining area on her floor for the last several months. It is beautiful! There is a lounge area with two big TVs and then a separate dining area. It should be open soon. QM is looking forward to that.....looks like a great party room to me! She always gets sad and teary when we leave which is hard but not much I can do except assure her I will be back. Anyone have plans for the Super Bowl? Party of Two here right now....ha.....first time I am really not interested in the Super Bowl but I will root for Seattle. Bye for now......N......Nuts and Bolts (not candy but a trail mix type snack QM used to make)........NEXT.........O

Hi walker!! ... glad that your trip went well and that the weather cooperated for you!! ... sounds like QM's place is moving up in style ... I'm sure she'll have a great time in the dining area when the remodeling is done!! ... it must be hard for her to see you go, but I'm sure she bounces right back and into her own routine after you are gone ....We're having a very small Super Bowl party here .... party of 3!! ...I'm not into football and I really don't want either team to win (what are the chances of that happening??) so I guess I'll try to stay awake for the commercials ....Nuts and Bolts ... sounds good!!

Hi Tootie....had to laugh....today I stopped in a drug store to get something for QM...at checkout counter I found myself scanning all the candy...HA....thinking...letters, letters, need candy...ha..funny! Good morning everyone .... we are at 20 degrees now and that is about as "warm" as we are going to get .... temps are going to drop and snow and wind are going to move in, just in time for those that are traveling to Super Bowl parties ... walker, how funny about the candy ... this is fun, as it brings back memories ....

Good Morning Friends! Snow and more snow today! We are at about 5"" now and may go to 12""....winds are suppose to pick up too. Soooo glad to be home.....would not make it today. We are being told to stay off roads here. There will be a lot of party cancellations today. Ol' man winter heard me counting down to Spring and said "" not so fast""....by the way.....46 days!! Good morning everyone ....HAPPY GROUNDHOG DAY!! ... it hasn't stopped snowing since last night ... we got about 12" overnight and it is still coming down and it is blowing around like crazy!! ... we are expecting another 4-7 today ... our temperature is a cold 13 (real feel -15) ... I have a dentist appointment today, but I am going to call first to make sure that they are there ... then it is going to be a day of UB's ... ... I am ready for spring ...

Good morning ~ Tootie, I am so glad we are freezing at 32 right now! Maybe 51 today? I don't envy your snow. I did not watch the game or commercials. The commercials are usually pretty good. This weekend was the charity Bull Riding event for DD. They had a great turnout, including a pink firetruck with firemen dressed in pink (they are real fireman that do this just for cancer). Even though it rained, the arena was covered and everyone had a fun time. I cannot believe the love! Wonderful people. Kathy is missing again. Hope things are going okay for her. Prayers to her and her family. Stay warm.
