Hey there Kathy!! Wow, that's great for your gniece! We like to stay in too. DH asked last night if I want to go out for dinner tonight...a bit late for reservations, and then what about the kids??? He did say he could just go to bed at 11 and not be concerned about staying up...I kind of agree.

Hi everyone - Happy New Year's Eve! i'm headed out to Publix in a few minutes - they have a few things on sale that ends today, and I want to get home as early as possible. I plan to spend the evening just reading and maybe watching a few shows on my new tablet; I've always found New Year's Eve one of the saddest days of the year, for some reason. Well, at least the holidays are over with.

Hope you all have a good evenings - if you go out, don't drink and drive, and be careful of drunks on the road!

Hello friends .... well, we are tucked in for the night ... we are getting our snow that they predicted would come ... so far, we have about 2 inches with high winds ... glad that we weren't planning on going out! ... to those that will head out ... safe travels!! and have a drink for me!!

Good morning ~ Breakfast sounds wonderful, Tootie. Friends have sent me pics of So. Cal with snow! It is cold there! I will actually get to wear my new jacket! The parade usually starts about 8AM (PST) I'm ready. Kathy, will you be bringing drinks? bigkat, you did a marvelous job with all the lights! It was very quiet here and I was actually awake.
