Good Evening 

We just had a gully washer.  Sun is back out.  Wifi stopped again.  Oh tech issues.  

Brother will be back in town for a week.  Drs apts need to be taken care of!     He also will be dealing with my house issues.  I do love seeing him but I am glad to see him go home also.  I know he has other duties also.  

Oh Blue jays. They like to dive bomb the cats and dogs. I loved seeing cardinals. I did see two unusual birds the other day.  I didn't get a good look to id.

Oh love the hummers.  Miss having feeders but at this point I don't need more tasks. 

Brother has been commenting on my books. I do like a physical book.  I had put some in my cart. Then they disappeared!  He didn't say anything then but commented recently no assured him I haven't bought any books.  I have plenty to keep me occupied.   I do have limited storage space.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, we also have a family of cardinals that live around here too! ... so colorful ... yesterday the crows and the bluejays got into a ruckus in the tree out back ... what a commotion!! ...

walker, hummingbirds are so fun to watch ... if you can keep up with them ... eat and then fly 😄... sometimes we have one or two that come around to the flowers, but not very often ... yikes! you are in for some hot weather next week ... I checked our forecast and we will be in the mid 70's ... 

Rainy day here ... high of 65 ... indoor day ... ugh!!

Happy Thursday!  Getting to the end of May...my, oh, my...I won't say it but....⏰✈️sss! 

Another morning chuckle...kittyfan, your comment on DB..nice to see him come...nice to see him go...tires you out, eh? Like having grandchildren visit, right, Tootie? 😂 By the way, have you heard of the book The Frozen River?  Highly recommended to me....I'm on wait list at library.  
Takes place in late 1700's...murder mystery.

Just heard on weather we have only had a little over 1" of rain this month....normal is 4".  Not the case in TX or NY.

Next ....heat!  

Groceries and errands today so better "shake a leg" 😉.

Hi there.....UB time before dinner time.  I picked up some Copper River Salmon at store today....so good...not cheap but worth it.  

I ran a few errands this morning...laughing along the way.

First store...picked up 2 cartons of ice cream...thought it was buy one/get one free....Nope!  Read the fine print...special sale next week...😠.  I told cashier I would take it anyway but she misunderstood and sent bagger to put it back.  😳 I had to chase him down and get ice cream back.  Arrrggh.  Back home....unload.

Off to bank....Chatty Cathy must have a cousin here..."HI...HOW ARE YOU?  BLAH, BLAH, DO YOU HAVE PLANS FOR WEEKEND?"  JUST GIVE ME MY MONEY...I'M IN A HURRY....on she goes with..."BEAUTIFUL DAY ISN'T IT...THINK I'LL TAKE A WALK DURING LUNCH"....YOU DO THAT DEAR....JUST GIVE ME MY MONEY....THANK YOU...BYE!!!!

Then off to my meat/seafood store....happy to see that salmon but pricey!  Seafood man knows me and whispered....it will be on sale tomorrow..can you come back?  No, I can't but, I would like it tonight....🤔.  He was so nice....he gave me the sale price today.  There are nice people in this world!  

Coming home I was stopped by a LONG...SLOW ...train...😠.  Enough running around for today.  

WINE TIME!  Grandma needs her medicine. 😂 Have a nice evening.

Yikes walker!! you had quite the day 😵‍💫 laughing at you chasing down the bagger for your ice cream ... but how nice that the fish man gave you the sale price ... and why is it when we are in a hurry that you get held up at the bank by someone that wants to talk ... most of the time (at least in my experience) they don't even want to be there ... and getting stuck waiting for the train?! go figure ... I think I can (wait for the train) ... I think I can (wait for the train) ... 😁😄 ... I just hope that the fish turned out like you wanted ...

(OR....was it the wine? 🤣)  Had to be it was good fish since DH said it too and he wasn't having wine.

Our storms made the national news.  It really did some damage.  Fortunately I didn't lose power.

walker, glad that your salmon was good and it got the approval from DH!

It's sunny now but will soon turn to rain ... ugh!! yesterday on the news the weatherman said that we've had 21 days of rain for the month!! ... Mother Nature, that's enough!! 😄 and it's been windy so our hanging pots have been sitting on the patio!

Happy Friday!  It is a sunny morning here.  We are dry here and you are wet, Tootie!  Maybe June will be better for you. 🤞 kittyfan, I saw your area on the news too. I thought of you right away.  Glad you are ok.  You need less stormy weather.

No news .... laundry and mani-pedi this afternoon.

Tomorrow DH and I are going to visit my DB and SIL for a couple of days in Michigan.  Also, catch a meal with friends in the area.  Just a short get-away.  I'll check in tomorrow morning first....have to have my Coffee ☕️ with Friends! 😁

Goof Evening

Woke u to thunder and lightening.  Saw on the news 1.5 inches close to me.  I know we need the moisture.  We were in a drought.

I lost wifi again. Gets old!   Brought sent me a video of their weather. They had lost power but he has a generator.  Still had to go through and unplug electronics.

Walker:  I have the book you mentioned.  I did read a few pages but put it aside.
