We got our last fish fry yesterday ... good as usual and another year of good fish is in the books!!

Happy Saturday!  Cloudy day...busy day ahead...cook, prep, etc, for family brunch in morning.  

Tomorrow morning I will have to really hop like a bunny and go to early Mass...🥱.  I guess better than late Mass when it is so crowded.  Anyway, I will not be on here until later tomorrow.  No time for sitting with friends and coffee in morning.  🐇....🐇....🐇

You both remembered....Blue Bunny Ice Cream!  And, now I remember seeing a "blue" bunny on container...but, never tried it...guess I should.

Hi there.....hopping on for a minute....instead of with coffee it is wine-time now!  I am beat!  Baked coffee cake, made egg casserole, quiche, sausage/apples, bacon, fruit bowl....few more things tonight....all that is prepped...ready for oven and/or reheating.  Tomorrow I will fix French toast which kids love.   AND...I opened the jelly beans and treated myself to a few!  😋

Big News.....DECK IS OPEN AGAIN!  Everything in place including GRILL!  We aren't getting furniture cushions out for awhile....need warmer weather to be out more.

I did my prep work yesterday too ... I only had to do my potatoes and I made an ambrosia salad ...

Good Afternoon Friends and HAPPY EASTER!  

I am done here and TIRED!  Got up early for church...then home to get things in oven....just realized I never had a cup of coffee!  🥴 Everything worked out well....I did not care for the quiche I made but others thought it was good. 
Just have a few dishes to clean up but I am not in a hurry to do anything.  Battery running low from lack of caffeine...ha!  

Hope you are enjoying your Easter.  🐇  I think I have overdosed on jelly beans!  Ha!

Good evening

Brother did a wonderful Easter lunch. They had invited a lady from church. A retired teacher who was a delight.  She didn't know about how Db  operates.  He had a full plate of food which he ate all of.  Got up to start clean up while the ladies visited.  She commented on how he operated. I said when he comes to my house he will immediately wipe the counters down and grab the broom.  I don't think anything of it anymore. At one time I was a bit uncomfortable but I got over it.  

They both have Drs appointments tomorrow and the dog is going to the spa.  So I should have an easy day!   They will go home late week and we will be back to take me to a ridiculous ly early apt the next week.  But not before heading this way with furniture going to my house. Whew!   Makes me tired thinking about it.  

When he was bringing me home he said his grandmother made sure he knew how to cook and do tasks.  I would have loved her!   She sounded like a lovely lady.

Walker:  if DB had been at your house dishes would have been done before you realized dinner was done!  

When I was waiting on brother I looked out in the courtyard. There was an Easter egg hunt.  Two boys not super young but they had a good time.  We did have rain during the night but the day was lovely.

Good morning friends ... it sounds like we all had a good Easter!!

kittyfan, I had to laugh at DB cleaning up while the ladies visited ... he has no rest in his bones!! 😂 ... you know I like early appointments so just think ... after your early one, you'll have the rest of the day to do what you want 😉 ... how fun that your place had an egg hunt ... those seemed to have faded around here.

walker, I bet you'll have a day of UB's ... (maybe enjoying some of your jelly beans! 😉) you did a lot yesterday and days leading up to it ... and no coffee??! 😊 ... glad everything turned out for you.

We had a good day as well ... I was not happy with our ham this year ... we always get a spiral cut one ... this one was cut very thick and had a lot of fat in it ... I left it all with DS ... he said he will make ham salad with it! ... the kids had a great day as well ... DIL does a hunt for them in the house!!

We'll have a warm 70 degree day with a chance of rain ... no plans today ... maybe laundry 😏

Good Morning Friends!  ☕️☁️🇺🇸

Happy Easter Monday!  Sounds like we all had a nice Easter with "good eats".  Today I just need coffee and less food....jelly beans too.  I think my body went into sugar shock. 

I just heard the news about the Pope passing...oh my...after the holiest day in the church.  RIP!  Just when we thought he was recovering too.  At least he was able to return to the Vatican home.  Now we wait for a new Pope to be chosen....maybe from America? 

kittyfan, what a nice Easter...DB fixed a nice lunch and cleaned up too!  A gem!  I laughed at your comment that DB would have had my kitchen cleaned up.  My DIL is somewhat like that...she is usually first one cleaning up.

Every meal has some disappointments....for you, Tootie, a ham and for me, quiche.  I always think...if no one gets sick, I guess it was ok...ha!  

UB day would be nice today....but, usual Monday chores and later a dermatologist appointment....not happy it is later in afternoon but I wouldn't want 6:30am either.  Doctor only has skin check appointments in afternoon...🫤.  She does a lot of cosmetic procedures earlier...🙄💰.

All for now......have a good day....some have Easter Monday off...if so, enjoy it.  School 🚌 buses running here.

Good evening

I woke up to the news.  My dad passed on Easter Saturday.  My brother the day after Christmas. Always reminders.

Brother sent me home with a care package. Yum.  I told the other first he was fixing us up with leftovers!  

I had to laugh when brother pulls out the spray to clean the fridge!  I know him well I am not sure if she had seen that side of his personality.
