walker, it sounds like we got the same amount of snow as you did! ... this morning because it is a little bit warmer, 32, it is melting into slush ... laughed at your comment about the "flashing" in that commercial ... for sure we would have one too many Mimosas!! 😁 ... I get a charge out of the man with the oxygen mask on!! 😂 ... I hopped over to our other connection and saw the Lucy and Ethel picture ... too funny! just picturing us "riding down the highway" ... born to be wild!! with the PD right behind 🚓 😂

LS was too cute yesterday ... she wanted to roll her little Barbie car back and forth to DH and me ... she thought it was great fun and said "you're my best friend!, I'm so happy when we play together!!" and BG stopped over with DH to pick up LS and he brought us a Valentine he made in school ... he put it right on the refrigerator ... 😂❤

Happy Thursday!  Everything is white outside....very pretty...but too much pre-hype...fortunately a few inches and not 8".  Glad forecasters were wrong.  One day closer to Spring! 🌷😊 

Tootie, you had an early love-filled Valentines Day with LS and BG too.  Cute, cute moments for your memory-file. 

kittyfan, good luck with doctors, bank, house, etc.  You and DB ... good team...."don't mess with them"..😉. 

Glad you both saw the Lucy cartoon ....and...kittyfan, saw commercial too.  You are right, Tootie, guy with oxygen mask is really funny.  We need these light moments for laughter.  I have another adorable video of children I will try to send later .... I laugh every time I look at it.  

Inside day for me....🥶....only high of 16...brrr.  DH has to clear driveway and get garbage out.  Bundle up, dear...😁.

 Yikes!! you are really cold today!! ... our temps dropped this afternoon and by the time DH went out to get rid of the slush, it was frozen ... he was at least able to get the porch cleared off for the mailman ...

DH said he would take me out for lunch....dinner time too crowded probably and we have a basketball game at 5:30.

Right now I want to curl up under a blanket.  It's only 2 degrees out!  🥶

Tootie, I am glad you liked that video.  It is just so cute!  So natural....so real....so funny!  I've watched it several times and keep laughing.

Middle of February....getting closer to Spring! 😊🌷 No news in hibernation...ha!  Stay warm , stay well...have a nice day....eat chocolate...😉.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!

Yesterday was busy.   Brother was picking me up for Drs apt.  New doc.  I had been a patient but Dr. Left. He called to say he was on his way.  Arrived at apointment time. He went to check me in and learned we were two hours late!  He has rescheduled the appointment!   He used his charm to get them to work me in.  I really liked the doc and he did also.  Lowe's was across the street.  He needed to pop in.  He left the heat on and went on.  He came out and we went to grab some dinner. We were going to the new condo and he was anxious to show me around. Three stops we had dinner.  Arrived to condo.  The floorplan was completely different than previous one.  It was lovely.  They were still doing decor.  I had ordered some fancy chocolates.  I had sent them home with him. We had a lovely meal.  DW off to Bible study on zoom.  We were working on banking issue.  He went to check the printer and realized he hadn't included a key document in my taxes!  He had packed me up a dinner to go. Went out and he couldn't find his keys. There is a pattern here. Finally found them in the coat pocket he has on earlier. He took me home. Stayed only long enough to put everything away.  He and I run cold so he has his hoodie pulled up.  I am thinking it could be unsettling!   All you could see was his face peeking out. At that time of the evening not many people out.  He told me he was late as he lost track of time. He needed to do the yard for the dog.  The previous owners had left one of the old fashioned reel mowers. I hadn't seen one of those in years. He said it worked really well.  He still needs to reinstall my printer but I know he will fit me in.  He and I have the same calendar. His was packed. Mine just Drs apts!  

Still need to call bank. Online doesn't show all my accounts. 

I hear the lawn folks working.

We are expecting a polar vortex next week.  I do have two Drs apts. 

Nice lunch and then game!  Tootie had early Valentine's with the kids.

Hi there......checking in during UB time....good to hear from you, kittyfan.  The adventures with DB continue.  You get your exercise just keeping up with him.....or trying to get him to slow down..ha.  Glad he worked his charm at doctor's appointment since you missed correct time.  What a surprise....we are how late? 😉

DH and I did not go to lunch....I took a "rain check"...and I will use it!  Received word this morning that mother of good friend of DD's passed away earlier.  I knew her fairly well through the girls and did not know her health had been failing.  Anyway, that news (third one in few weeks) and cold temperatures took wind out of my sails.

But, I think we will make basketball game unless snow moves in before then.

GD had gymnastics competition this morning.  (No school to miss for a change...long weekend off.)  Anyway, she did real well on three of four routines so she qualified for State competition...think in March.  Apparently, she fell twice on beam routine....those flips...😖...glad I wasn't there.

Time to finish laundry.  Then I am making a Chicken-Potato-Corn Chowder for dinner after game.

Hello friends ... kittyfan, boy! DB must be quite the charmer ... I've been in doctors offices when people come in and are 1/2 hour late and there is no way that the office will budge to squeeze them in ... so kudos to DB!! ... walkers right, you certainly do get your exercise in when you are with him ...

walker, sorry to hear about your DD's friends mother (and the others) ... hope you were able to get to your GS game ... something fun to look forward to! ... and kudos to your GD for making it to States ... too bad she fell and she probably has a bruised ego ... that's ok though (as long as she doesn't get hurt) ... she gets up and is back at it!!

 DH cooked a nice steak dinner for us ... maybe you'll be able to swap your "rain check" for lunch to a "rain check" for dinner ... restaurants won't be so crowded once Valentine's Day is over! 😉

I have no earth shattering news ... again! ... I can't wait until we can get out and about! ... Spring should be here in about a month or so 🤞

Happy Saturday!  I'm going to have to start my countdown to Spring soon.  I've hit my winter-wall...ha...need to get out and about.  Patience, patience.....and our winter has not been that bad with snow....just cold.  Guess I am bored.

We did have another snow storm late yesterday afternoon so we cancelled going to GS's basketball game.  Yesterday was a bust....move on to new day.

You are probably more tired than I am with winter, Tootie.

We'll weather the weather whatever the weather....😂..🤞.
