Good evening

It was a lovely day here. I had the door open for fresh air.  

I finally got Jake's primary bed washed. He has been in it most of of the day.  He has two other beds but this is his preferred. 

Brother has movers coming on Monday.  He is a master of negotiating prices. He rented a storage unit and will be taking some furniture which will go in the house. I initially thought we would sell but he has other ideas.   I defer to his advice. I had made some poor decisions and had difficulty in securing vendors. I did this when I worked but I lost my touch. 

Hope your GD has a good game!  I watched more gymnastics on TV. I know they have been doing these moves for years and lots of practice but it still is amszing.

Good morning friends ... I have been really sick ... got hit like a ton of bricks on Thursday mid morning and have been in bed since then ... until I moved down to the couch earlier this morning ... maybe change of scenery will help me feel better ... I had a sinus/cold congestion, headache/sore throat and along with that a nasty stomach bug ... I'm feeling a bit better ... thanks for your concern and hopefully I'll be back soon ... I miss chatting with you!!

Happy Sunday!  HAPPY to see your message, Tootie!  But, very sorry to hear you have been so sick. Negative on Covid....good news.  FEEL BETTER SOON!  I thought that was what happened because when you get sick ....you are REALLY sick!  I hope you are turning the corner now....rest, rest!  💐

Colds and flu seem to really be going around.  It is making me nervous.  Hope I can dodge the germs.  Makes me not want to leave my house!

kittyfan, glad you had some nice weather....open door day!  Fresh air coming in is what we all need!  

We went to GS's basketball game and it was very good...GS made some baskets....and team won.  👍

GD has gymnastics competition coming up on Friday.  🤞😬 I think we will be able to go....stay tuned.

Tootie:  glad you were able to move around. There is a nasty stomach bug going around. 

Yes you do get SICK.

FHG said they had a few inches of snow.  

This morning I attended the services here at SO.  I left my phone as phones aren't welcome. I arrived home to see missed calls from brother. I texted him.  Logged in to zoom Bible class.  Brothers DW calls---i was surprised as I knew she participated. She said brother was on his way as he couldn't reach me. He walks in the door saying he ran lights to get here.  I realized he had a tag on his pants. He said he grabbed the first things he saw.  He dashed off as they were doing church on zoom and he had duties.  If it was during the week he has a contact to check on me!

Tuesday I get my home monitor. Thank goodness. Those weekly labs were tiresome.  Wednesday have a Drs apt.  Hopefully I can stop the injections. Twice a day is cumbersome.

kittyfan, glad you are getting your home monitor, it should make things a whole lot easier now ... I'm sure DB will be able to help you figure out how it all works.

walker, it sounds like you will be busy going to your grandkids games/events ...

Happy Monday!  Happy Freezing Monday here...high of about 15.  In hibernation mode today.

Tootie, so glad you are feeling better.  Good idea to ease back into normal routine. Hopefully, your DH stays well. My SIL was down with the flu this weekend too.  I'm getting paranoid now that so much is going around.

I found out GD's gymnastics this Friday will be in the evening and she may only be in two events.  So, we will not be going.....more competitions to come.  Again, with all the "bugs" going around I don't want to be in many groups...😬.....hard to avoid.....worry, worry.  Back to masks? 🙄

kittyfan, cute story about DB racing over yesterday when he could not reach you❣️  Good luck with new monitor...Hope it works well for you.  Trips to lab would be tiresome.

walker, I'm considering wearing my masks again when I go shopping ... this time of year the only place I go now is the grocery store and probably picked something up there 🤷‍♀️ ... (or my sweet little grandkids brought me something 😉) ... kind of annoying to wear them but right now I'm sick of being sick!! ... mine is still hanging on ... feeling better but just not back to normal ...

Today I'm going to try and get some laundry done ... maybe ... we'll see what happens.

Happy Tuesday!  Brrrrr.....very cold....yesterday I was able to hibernate but today I have to go out....dreaded dental appointment day.  I almost cancelled but I'll go....get it over.  Also, later we have another basketball game to attend.  Bundle up and turn on the "seater heaters"..😂.

It is good weather to get back under the covers, kittyfan.

And, extra UBs for you, Tootie, just recovering.  Do the express shopping trip!

No other news here.....hot coffee hits the spot...☕️😊.
