Good morning friends ... walker, I didn't realize that football was starting already and heard that the Bears really beat the Bills!! Congrats to them!! ... LS came out after her nap and was so excited to see us and her party decorations (Aladdin) ... it was in their backyard and DS had some pop-up canopy tents up for shade but we had to take them down because it was soooo windy!! one of her balloons let loose and blew away ... the rest of the balloons got moved indoors!! ,,, but it was still a fun birthday party!!

Shout out to kittyfan and cookie ... 👋👋 hope all is well!

Nothing on my calendar today so it may be a UB day!! ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Happy Sunday! 😎 ..... says it all....another nice day coming up.  Perfect weather for an outdoor fest at our church this afternoon which we will go to....roasted pork, corn and lots more.  One meal out for today....👍. 

Tootie, sounds like a fun 3rd birthday for LS...minus wind.

I can imagine her excitement at seeing decorations.  

Looked out kitchen window this morning and saw a mess of leaves, etc, on ground by tree.  DH laughed....his squirrelly friends had been building a nest recently.  They must not be good builders as it fell apart.  DH is always looking up for nests.  He doesn't mind in trees away from house but not close to house.

Talked with brothers dear wife this morning. She said we need to plan going out when they are in town. They are coming his way. I know they have some apts etc. Brother will  take me to a drs apt.  I have a few things I need his help with!  They have a church anniversary event to participate in also.

Good morning friends ... walker, the church fest sounds yummy ... it seems like those squirrels are trying to antagonize your DH 😄 ... someone around me is feeding them peanuts and we are always finding the shells throughout the yard!!

kittyfan, how nice that you can spend some time with DB's wife too when they come into town ... I'm sure he'll help you out with your issues.

Yesterday was another windy day ... thought of you walker as the plants came down 😏😄 ... we never got the rain until overnight ... there's just a small chance of rain for today with a high of 74 ... love it!!

The Country Fest yesterday was very nice....yummy....perfect weather day....but, it seems bands only know one volume....loud!  We sat outside but under a tent.  The band was outside the tent at opposite end from us....still loud....hard to talk....oh well.....food and fun with friends was great!  

kittyfan, I know you will look forward to seeing DB and his wife (guess we could call her DW? 😅). Hope the sticky situation is being cleared up.

Tootie, peanut shells...not good....yes, someone feeding those squirrels....ugh.  Hope that doesn't bring other critters. 🙀

Usual chores here today too.  A friend might come to visit next week so I better start getting ready.....look for dust bunnies....freshen up guest room, etc.

walker, glad you had a good time at the church fest, except for the loud music ... laughed at "bands only know one volume ... loud" ... but so true!! ... we had a little visitor yesterday on our patio ... Mr. Squirrel decided that the arm of our chair would be a great place to munch on his peanuts ... I clapped my hands and away he went ... next time clean up your mess!!

Grocery store this morning ... it's kids day tomorrow so I have to stock up 😄 ... we've only got a couple more weeks of having them both come here ... we're going to miss LG!! but he's growing up and life goes on ... (and it's not like we're never going to see him 😊)

I am back doing PT. I am tired when done but I see benefits.

Brothers grands started back on school yesterday. Posted a pic. Hey had picked them up from school.  Asked if they wanted a treat. As he was getting ready to turn in looked back to see they were both sound asleep!!!  Older grand sent me a sweet note insisted on addressing the envelope etc  asked every day if it arrived. Finally it did. I have a very long address. My last address was very short.  

All the squirrel talk. I did see lots. Lately haven't seen any. Finally saw one today.

Good morning friends ... walker, yes, we have been friends for over 10 years ... I joined the group in June 2013 ... and I remember that date because my DS was getting married then so I couldn't really talk every day ... after the wedding was over, I came back on and never looked back!! it's been a fun 11 years for me!! I've got a group of great friends!! ❤

kittyfan, what a cute and funny story about DB's grands falling asleep on the way home from school ... the school day wore them out!! ... happy to hear that your PT is helping you out.

We're in for a 82 degree day ... not so humid yet, but it's on the way for the weekend ... yesterday we were supposed to have a 72 degree day but it ended up hitting 81 and we had to put the A/C on!! ...
