Hello friends ... we had a great day ... spent most of our time outside 😁 ... and we did have a visit from Sammy Squirrel (or at least he tried to visit) as soon as LG spotted him, he chased him through the yard!! up the telephone and into the tree in the back ... maybe that will teach him and he won't come back!!

cookie, I guess we were wanting Ice Cream early this morning ... and that Ice Cream Mimosa sounds delicious!! SCC will make that happen ... 😉 ... I too, think that you and your ex have a wonderful realationship ...

walker, I hope you got all of your packing done and you are ready to go ... Safe travels to you and DH and the family ... can't wait to hear all about your adventures!!

Hi all ..... Time for grandma's meds!  I am tired!  Stressed from packing!  😂 I am almost done....last few things in the morning and zip it up!  Looking forward to the trip.  I will keep in touch with yet another Lucy and Desi adventure! 🤞 a good one!

Good morning friends ... not much happening since my last post ... today is DH's Birthday so DD (she took the day off) is meeting us for breakfast! and then tonight we will have a cookout with DS/SIL and the kids ... it's a party day!! 🎂🥳

We'll have another sunny 76 degree day ... no rain is predicted for a while.

oh happy BD wishes are in order. Lots of memories to be made 

Yesterday had Drs apt running behind so we had a wait. Quick service at lab but wait and wait.

Brother took Holly to get her stitches out. I was home with Mr Jake who was howling. He said when he went through lobby he was stopped for pets. He sent me a pic of Holly in vehicle. I realized he had thought ahead and brought blanket to protect the seat. He said she was a prima Donna at vet. She got her stitches out. Healing well .

Tried to take care of some issues with the house. Wait some more.  Brother went on Amazon onirder some things for me. When he was leaving we were walking down. Thought he left his phone in vehicle. Then I remembered no he used it.  He went back and returned saying it had fallen in cushions in couch.  He said he was sleeping in but I reminded him he had an early Drs apt.  He had spent a lot of time trying to get a referral apt  it seems half the medical in this town are vacationing.   His regular Dr was out and this was a reoccurring issue which had flared. He will shop for me which he enjoys. Heading home tomorrow. Will be back in a month for next round of appointments. I seem to be on a three month.  Yesterday got apt for three months and then six months. 

He had put some books on my Amazon cart. One was a book for his grandson. Last visit I loaded up his items. His grandson wrote me a sweet thank you. Brother said his GS wanted to be sure it was mailed so they went to PO.  He calls me "aunt"!

Walker:  oh big adventures lots of memories. 

Cookie:  did you get rain yesterday?  Woke up to thunder boomers.

Good morning~Sleepy Super Saturday July 20 2024

kityfan, I only know we got rain because the ground was wet when I left yesterday morning to get my nails done.  I didnt hear or see anything.  Must have been under the old rock again. Little to no rain today with 95 and some breezes.  Glad your DB was able to take care of things.  Good to hear Holly Prima Dona  got her stitches out and is healing well.  How nice for him to be the "Amazon" man, appointments and some issues with the house.  Hang onto this guy!!!!  His GS is definitely related to your DB - a sweeet thank you note from a nice young man!

Tootie, Happy Belated Birthday to your DH and a great  cookout with everyone.  Hope Sammy Squirrel didn't show up!😄😮 Glad it wasn't CE - he has a way of finding everything!  

walker, Having a great time I'm sure. Enjoy the Lake and the Mimosas🥂!  Of couurse, they aren't made by a Specialist - Tootie!🥂😋  Safe travels on the trip back.

Time to feed Molly - she slithered into the closet and I closed the door without knowing so she was shut in until I returned with my coffee,cheerios and her breakfast.  Scared me - I couldn't find her and hoped she did not get out of my room to see the big dogs.  Thankful for the gate!  Love that sweet kitty💗

Happy Saturday!  Quick hello as I need to get ready for the day.  All went well yesterday ..... weather good.  Friends arrived about time we did.  We all chatted a bit and then DH and I took short UB! Ha!  We had a 7 hour travel day; they just had 1 1/2 hours.

Glad you are all fine....cookie, poor Molly...🤣....glad she wasn't stuck for long.  And, Holly is healing....and Jake is happy she is back, kittyfan.  Tootie, happy belated birthday greetings to DH....nice day of celebrating.

Have to go.....after breakfast....off to the ⛵️ races.  Hotel is sold out so many people here.  See you later.

Brother said he slept in. Will try to head home tomorrow. With the snafu he didn't want to get stranded at the airport. He has a flexible schedule.   His meds helped and he is feeling better.

kittyfan, glad your brother is feeling better.  Safe travels to him.  I also see squirrels around here, occasionally,  but when the dogs see them, they bark at them and the squirrels run away to the back 40.  Cute little devils they are.  

Tootie, glad you had a great time yesterday - no squirrels?  Glad you are enjoying some nice warm weather - hopefully without humidity.  How is Sammy Squirrel doing? 😄 

walker, hope you enjoyed the races.  Good friends, good weather and a good time!  Safe travels on your way home.  We will have to celebrate your home coming  with some many of Tootie's MM's🥂🥂!

Another DVS day here.  We will be 82 with scattered T storms in the afternoon.  Molly still loves going into the closet and usually comes back out when called.  She is a good girl💗
