OK ladies ... since we will be using these costumes on FF, I could fit into all of them ..
However, I vote for the third one .... We would be able to use them for a couple different shows as well as for the plane ... one for Swiss Miss Cocoa ... perhaps a commercial act for them?? and we could go to the Swiss Alps and perform for the Yoddlers ..... who knows, maybe we could throw yoddling into our act too??!!

OK, girls, let me remind you that those old bi-planes are just covered in canvas, so the flaming hoops are out for this act, but I did find a nice red, white, and blue strobe hoop at moodhoops.com:

They have a really nice selection there, including fire hoops. Check them out! ![]()

Good morning ~ walker - Vindaloo is an Indian dish made with curry, onions, and more spices with potatoes and chicken. It is the sauce, you can use other meat. I have not made this particular recipe as I am lazy and prefer to go out to a good Indian restaurant.
Chicken Vindaloo
1 -3 1/2 lb chicken, quartered and skinned
salt & freshly ground black pepper
ghee (or butter)*
3 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
2 cups yellow onions, finely chopped
2 tablespoons ginger powder
2 teaspoons cumin powder
2 teaspoons yellow mustard seeds, ground
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1 tablespoon turmeric
1 1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon paprika
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
1 teaspoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons salt
2 cups water
tamarind paste*
2 tablespoons dried tamarind, mixed with
2 tablespoons hot water, worked through a sieve, discarding the seeds
Directions:
Salt and pepper the chicken quarters. Heat a large frying pan and brown the chicken in the Ghee. You will have to do this in two batches.
Remove the chicken to a 6-quart stove-top covered casserole, leaving the fat in the pan.
Add the garlic and onion to the pan and sauté until golden brown.
Add to the casserole along with the ginger, cumin, mustard seed, cinnamon, cloves, turmeric, cayenne, and paprika.
Sauté all for a few minutes and add all the remaining ingredients except for the garnishes.
Cover and simmer until the chicken is tender. about 45 minutes. Stir a few times during cooking; partially remove the lid during the last 10 minutes or so to thicken the sauce. Top with garnishes.
Ghee: Butter that is cooked to separate the clear butter fat from the milk solids and moisture, an ingenious method that allows butter to keep for long periods of time.
Tamarind: Tamarind paste and concentrate, fresh products, are available in the produce section of many ethnic markets. Both products, made from the tamarind pod, need to be reconstituted.

Good luck with costume choices here......FF tomorrow....is it Australia? Happy Thursday!

Good afternoon ladies!! I had to run my DM to the doctors this morning (just her regular check up) ... it snowed here during the night (just enough to coat the sidewalks and streets) and she is afraid to drive in the snow .... Snow is melted as it is so sunny right now!!
cookie...that recipe sounds delicious. I would prefer to go out as well ... I don't like when there are 4.001 ingredients to a recipe ... LOL ... but it sure does sound good!! I am going to save it and maybe try it someday!!
Australia sounds fine with me....walker!! Maybe we could find a cool spot??

Hi girls! Cookie & Tootie, we'll need you do to extra practice before the wing-walking performance; did you remember to check and see if all your insurance is up-to-date?
It's currently 73° at the Alice Springs Aerodrome in Australia - perfect weather!
I'm not familiar with the area, but have arranged for Trevor, a local guy who wants to make some extra money, to be our tour guide - hope you don't mind the slight added expense.
