Happy Tuesday!  And, happy it is for you Tootie!  I just had to laugh about your dental appointment being cancelled..."that's a shame"....😂!  My feelings exactly.

Today I am having my oven checked.  I think I may have mentioned it makes a noise I'm not used to when I turn it on....whooshing like gas coming through the coil connection.  Then I'm not convinced it is reaching right temperature after "preheat" says "ready".  I bought a new oven thermometer and it doesn't register the same.  So, hopefully, I get some answers today....or ....send out another NEW stove.  

No other news.....did sleep in a bit so better get moving....hope cookie and kittyfan are getting better sleep....maybe cooler temperatures help?

It's been raining most of the day and we even had another hail storm ...

Right behind you, Tootie, doing same thing...UB and then fix dinner....trying a new chicken dish...will let you know...sounds easy...got from friend.  

Good news with oven.....nicest guy came out...."experienced" .....told him my problem and said I thought I might blow up.  He laughed.  He said...normal problem with new gas stoves....needs gas adjustment.  So, he fixed that or made adjustment and no more "whooshing" noise.  I do hear it heat up but that is normal.

As far as my oven thermometer not reaching temp after preheat done.....he said oven thermometers are not always accurate and take longer to reach temperature.  He did suggest after I preheat to wait about ten minutes before baking.  So, back in business now....baked cookies and came out fine.  Now for dinner.....

What?  Q is up?  Checking in and following Tootie again!  Had to jump on because I laughed when you said DH probably "taste tested" the cookies! 😆 YES!  He is always around for that!!  And, he liked dinner as well!  Easy!  It was cooked chicken (cubed) mixed with mayo, lemon juice, grated cheese, water chestnuts, celery, onion, s&p, topped with crushed potato chips or potato sticks...👍.

OK..now ...night all....see you in the morning!

Glad you got your oven fixed walker.  Makes you wonder about today's appliances.  Sounds like it's working fine now and you were able to have a taste tester😄 The chicken dinner sounds great too!

kittyfan, sorry you are "creaking".  Before I had my knees replaced, they would crinkle - which must be a glorified name for creaking.  Getting and being old is just no fun!  Hope you are feeling better after seeing the PT. Love Raisin Bread!  Especially to make French Toast!🌟

Happy Wednesday!  I slept in and then stopped to answer a survey here that popped up.  Do you get those?  Answer?  Sometimes I do...sometimes no.

I need to get moving though....my driver's license expires this year....☹️...at certain ages 🥴 you have to take a road test!!! Ugh!!!!  Oh well...I want to get it over with and if I don't pass, I have a few weeks to retry.  🤞🤞🤞🤞
