Good morning and Good night to MIssMadi ~

Got up this morning and turned the bathroom faucet on - no water!  We just got the okay not to boil water yesterday????  I guess we don't have to worry since we don't have any water to boil.  The snow and ice are melting away  but still too slippery to walk on and less of a potential water supply.  It should go away fast today as the heat wave is here - 67 today!  

Tootie, you and five million others had the same great idea to shop early!!!  I often wondered about goiing later in the evening, but don't like to be out after dark anymore.  Love your "S" - a good slogan for SCC.✨✨😜

Thanks for starting the countdown walker!  This gives us something to look forward to!  Where would we be without your Royal countdown???

Good morning friends ... oh no cookie! sorry about your water issue ... just when things were starting to get better. But yikes! with that 67 degree weather that snow will melt really fast! ...

We had another fun time with LG ... he is growing too fast ... DS/DIL have three cats and LG had a grand time trying to catch them ... and we had a grand time watching!! 😄

We will have a 28 degree day ... thanks for the Spring count down walker ... it won't be too much longer 🌻🌼🌷

Happy Sunday!  Well, it will be if cookie gets running water.

That is not what you want to wake up to.  Hopefully, things will get better as temperatures warm up.

How are things for you, kittyfan?  You just need a good Cafe meal or dessert now!

We will have a nice day followed by some snow later in day.  THEN...a mild week with temperatures all above freezing....hip..hip..hooray!!  The worst is behind us...I think! 🤞

Tootie, any time you feel like you need exercise, just visit LG! Ha! I can just see him running after the cats and laughing.  What a cutie he must be.

DD and GD stopped over yesterday.  I am feeling a bit sad because GD is growing up so fast!  She is changing from little girl to little lady....10 going on 15....yikes.  She is so sweet.  She always would run to our door and ring doorbell about 12 times and laugh.  Yesterday only one ding by DD.  I told GD...STOP...GO BACK...where is my ding-dong girl....ring the bell!  So, to humor grandma she did!  Sigh....guess if I see her getting older I know I am too!

Well, time for breakfast and church...long commute...😂.

Oh Cookie. I understand. When I had no water I had gotten it at 3 and wanted a drink. Not fun. FB friend posted Georgetown had lost power.

I know there are people still dealing with power and water issues.

Cafe is open but I won't be br visiting. Staying home again. Have TS duty next week. So I am conserving energy. We will be really short staffed but we muster on. What a year

Stopping by for a quick hello to everyone.  We will be having some really mild temperatures this week.  Hard to believe Spring is right around the corner.  Our snow is still on all the lawns and the roads are clear of all the snow and especially the icy conditions.

Good morning ~  SOunds like everyone is coming out of the freeze.  Good to hear from you MissMadi - and - love the picture!!  

walker, your GD sounds like a sweetheart!  I remember that age with my daughter and G'daughter.  Enjoy her before she gets to a pre-teen, then you're in for some real good stuff!  

Tootie, I envy your clean kitchen.  Ours is slowly getting back to normal without all the humungous pots of water to be boiled, or not to be boiled.  That and all the mud from the dogs.  We had water on and off yesterday and finally stayed on and no boil!! We only had one small spurt of no power for about 25 minutes during the whole freeze.  

kittyfan, good thing you are conserving your energy for the TS.  Hope you have some help there.

We're having some nasty weather today ... a snowy/rain mix with high winds ... we've had several accidents this morning.

Happy Monday!  Sounds like it will be in TX...finally the thaw!  More mud for cookie! ☹️  Soon it will be hot and dry again there.  Tootie, sorry about your cold, snowy day but I am sending sunshine.  We are going to have mild temperatures all week.  Maybe I can peel off a layer of my Michelin Man suit when I walk.

MissMadi, your pictures are cute and calming!  Sweet little kitties.  

kittyfan, glad you are staying home and resting up for TS!  Hope all goes well when you return.  We will look forward to ATTST (As the Thrift Store Turns) stories again.  Just stay well!

I have started reading a book in the Ladies of Covington book series by Joan Medlicott...easy, light reading.  Kind of reminds me of our friendship group.  This book is about three women who meet in a boarding house...all in 60's...one inherits a house in NC....needs a lot of repairs...they decide to remodel it...live together and take care of each other ....two are widows..one had abusive husband she was going to divorce and he died...drama with children too.  Just getting into it....

Need to "get into" morning and have breakfast ....enjoy your day.....see you later.....👋👋 🇺🇸😷.

Hello friends ... Love the countdown walker!!

We had/are having a miserable day ... rain turned into snow and it is very windy (thanks for trying to send the sunshine walker but these darn winds kept it away) ... but, that countdown gives me a glimmer of hope that Spring is right around the corner ... the book you are reading sounds interesting!
