HAPPY TUESDAY!! We did vote....EASY....guess our timing was good! We were IN and OUT in minutes! We were so surprised. I was anxious about a line...too many people, etc. BUT, empty!!! Well, two people in voting. It was handled very well....spacing, etc. Now, wait and see....certainly hope we don't see the violence that is feared! We Vote, We Wait, We Accept it....move on.

Tootie, wonder if you will find the missing scarecrow hat. You must have gotten the winds we had over the weekend. I will be sending you lots of sun for rest of week.

cookie, it must have been fun to have the visitors but, also, nice to get back to normal too, right? Hope lab appointment goes well.

kittyfan, how are you doing? You know I thought of you the other day as we call you our Busy Bee. When I used to play school with GD and GS, I had to think of a name quickly.....I picked Mrs. Busy Bee!!!! HAHA!!! Kids still remember it. Busy 🐝s are good people! 😁

Looks like my Happy Everything party will be Sunday. Laughed at your suggestion of celebrations, cookie. Who knows....things change daily so better enjoy getting together whenever possible....especially outside. I told girls...dress warm, bring chairs...HA..a November picnic...a first! I am not overly concerned...no hugging, kissing, etc, going to fix easy meal....and if we move inside...no big deal. I'll take family over worry.

Hello ... glad to hear that you will be able to have your "November Picnic" walker ... I think you'll have good food and fun with family ... I'm sure it will all work out ... and, if you have to move indoors I know you'll be cautious ... happy to hear that you were in and out at voting ... and what a cute story about your name ... Mrs. Busy Bee ...

I went out and took a look around for the scarecrows hat .. no luck ... so, I got my crafty little hands to make one ... I found some felt in my craft box (that really just sits collecting dust in the basement) and put a hat together ... not the greatest, but it will do ...

The sun is shining (thanks walker) and we are at 50 degrees ... it's pleasant out.

Hi there......glad the sun made it over there, Tootie. It was warm (well...60's warm) here. I finally got out for a walk after a week...felt good. Glad you are crafty and could give your scarecrow a new hat! Oh, we say stuffing too but sometimes I refer to it as dressing ..and love it either way.

I am anxiously nervous watching TV now...who knows which way this election will go. God Bless America!

Good morning ~ I'll bet Mr. Scarecrow looks wonderful in his new hat Tootie! Clever lady you are.

We say stuffing here except for SIL and his family, they say dressing, but they are native Texans. Sometthing about the South when it comes to food. Stuffing or dressing, I love it either way!

walker, your Everything day will be a great gathering! I don't know what plans DD has - DS is coming for Thanksgiving so I guess we will have a Thanksgiving dinner. Pig out time!

Went to the lab yesterday at 7am and signed in, etc. When they called me, I told her the doc had faxed the instructions. She looked through the whole file and nope - no instructions!! 😠. Left and got gas then went home. I called the doc's office and they said it was faxed on August 12th! She will re fax so I am going this morning at 7am! OMG, this means I am getting out and doing something!!!

We will have another 80 degree day - very pretty sunshine, and thankful for AC. How about you kittyfan, are you beginning to melt?

cookie, ugh! it's too bad that the lab couldn't have called the doctor to get the paperwork faxed over while you were there so you wouldn't have to go back ... but, I guess you get to go out on another fieldtrip today!!

walker, nails or no nails this morning?? glad you were able to get out for your walk yesterday ... and thank you for sending that weather my way ... we will be a sunny 62 today.

kittyfan, hope all is well.

LG is getting his haircut this morning ... his hair is sooo long and keeps falling in his eyes ... DIL has trimmed it up a little bit but they decided it's time to go to the shop ... they're (she is, only one can go in) taking him to a kids place ... I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Hi Tootie, The doc's office doesn't open until 8am and it was only 7:15am so they couldn't call. It is what it is and I got out for awhile. Trying again in a few minutes.

I'll bet LG's haircut experience will be memorable. Hope your DIL takes a lot of pictures! They are so cute at his age. Wishing her luck - sometimes they scream and cry and won't do it. DD has had some of those memorable moments.

Think I will send some sun and warm temps to you and walker. It isn't winter here with these warm days.

I am not a fan of Fruitcake either - UGH!

Ahhhhh.....new day.....☀️☀️....thank heavens for sunshine....helps our dragging spirits! Ha! Did not chew on my nails ....not worth it....went to bed hoping for a decision by morning.....hmmmm...what morning will we have that.....🥴? We vote....we wait. God Bless America!

Haircut day for LG....... those first haircut memories are so cute.....he will start to look more like a little boy than baby now.

Laughing at Tootie's reference to your "field trip", cookie....glad you look at is as getting out again...I would be so annoyed.

Hello ... I took a ride over to see LG ... he looks so cute with his haircut and no more baby look ... DIL got a ton of pictures and the place where she took him gave her a certificate with a "before and after" picture and a lock of his hair in a small plastic bag tied with a blue bow ... he didn't cry at all ...

cookie, I hope you were able to get your lab work done ... I never thought about your doctors office being closed when you were at the lab ...

walker, sometimes these boards can be so frustrating ... hope you have better luck next time you post ...
