Good morning fellow Bumpers! With all the bumping going on, none of us seems to be in a condition to attend or do BAT. This is fine with me as it's cold at Tooties and we need the rest to recoup!!!! We will be 77 today.

I have been up since 2 this morning and hope I get a long UB today to make up for it. G'kids are coming over this morning for breakfast since we didn't see them Thanksgiving (they do friendsgiving). DD is very good with breadfast casseroles and breakfast gatherings. I am good at eating them!

I am driving myself crazy because I cannot do much of anything. Doing nothing and doing a whole lot of nothing are two different things!

Good morning friends ... ohhhh cookie!! you will be needing a really long UB today ... after you get to see your grandkids!! ... have fun with them and have fun doing a whole lot of nothing!! ... a Root Beer Float?? yum, my favorite! haven't had one in loooooong time ...

We are 49 degrees now and that is our high .... showers expected throughout the day ...

"We" are going to try to get our outdoor decorations out this weekend too, walker .... I've got my "supervisor" hat ready ... how about you?? ...

Good Morning Friends!

We are in for a stretch of pretty decent temperatures in the next week. There should be a good day for putting up the outside decorations! I'll grab my Supervisor hat too, Tootie!! I do it so well! Hopefully, DH won't fire me.....haha!

cookie, you will be ready for a long UB after a good breakfast gathering with the family! Breakfast/Brunch is one of my favorite things!

Root Beer Floats takes me back too.....a favorite as a kid! I always have root beer on hand as DH likes it. He loves ice cream too....hmmm....I should surprise him sometime with a float!

Good thing we took a break this week from BAT. I have a lot of laundry to do (sheets/towels,etc) from family visit. I miss them being here but we all need to get back to our own routines. Great to see them come.....hate to see them go.

Happy Saturday! Give my regards to your P.D., Tootie, if they drive by looking for us....haha!

U = Who me? U betcha! walker, I wonder if the PD will miss us? What will they do without us?

I cannot believe Shilo is growing so fast! Little stinker is spoiled rotten!!! I just want to bend over and pick her up, but must remember not too. Very hard.

Guess what ladies?? ... look what was delivered for us today ...

My local PD did stop by ... they were "patrolling" my street and remembered my house ... gee, I wonder why?? ... we were putting out some Christmas lights and they stopped ... the officer came up to me and said "isn't this the house where the group of ladies meet every Saturday? There is a woman who thinks she is Queen??" I asked "why do you want to know?" ... He said they were so bored at the station, but happy to not have to come here, that they wanted to give us a little "present".... he mentioned that by us using the card, we would not be "taking up space" in the jail (should we be taken down there) .... I thanked them and they said they hoped that the "quietness" continues .... What a great gift for us!!

Hope everyone is having a good day .... It rained on and off but we were able to get some of our lights out ... tomorrow we will do the rest ...

Good Evening Friends.....(sounds so formal)......

Oh my, Tootie, a Get Out of Jail Free card! Don't lose it! I hope it means......one card for all....we go in together ...we get out together! Better yet....we don't go in and don't need it!! HA! Aren't you lucky to have a "well known" address in town!? SCC has put you "on the P.D. Map!"

I had such a busy day taking care of the laundry, etc, that DH and I never got outside to decorate. But, we will soon....and, just thinking.....in order to be a Supervisor...you need an employee(s) that will listen to you!!!! My DH has selective hearing so we will see how this job goes!

Enjoying our nice weather! No excuse for not walking!

Good morning ~ Holidays would certainly be more fun if the prep and clean up were not so time consuming making everyone so tired. SIL put up the outside lights last week (gotta love that man) and I am enjoying them this morning as the time must have gone wacko and didn't turn them off.

Neighbor brought over a huge Cajun deep fried turkey. OMG it was the best turkey I've had in years! The white meat was as juicy and tender as the dark (we are not white meat lovers here) and everyone loved it all. He was doing 5 or 6 turkeys to be donated to charities and slipped us one. Now that's a real neighbor! They actually are wonderful neighbors across the road.

Bonfire night last night. Smelled so good and it wasn't too cold. We also played a fun game - It's Not What But How You Say It.(or something like that) A lot of fun and laughs.

Great card Tootie! Hope we never have to use it, but the chances are slim!

Good morning friends .... what a nice surprise to wake up to holiday/Christmas lights!! ... sometimes those timers have a mind of their own ... I've never had a deep fried turkey but that Cajun one sounds delicious ... I would love the white meat! ... bonfire and a game?? fun!! ... it sounds like you had a fun day from beginning to end!! .... how is your eye doing??

Oh yes, that jail card will give us all a free pass ... I doubt we will ever have to use it ... BUT ... we have it if we do

We will have a mild day ... 33 now and will go up to 41 ... not as warm as yesterday but still dry ... we went to Mass last night and boy was it empty ... I think everyone must still be away for the holiday .... time for paper and coffee ...
