Good morning friends ... kittyfan, it sounds like you had a good day with DB ... how nice that you got to eat lunch at your house ...  it sounds like it should be done and finished soon!! ... gee, I think DB needs a very long Calgon moment 🛁 ... enjoy your day of dominoes and don't forget your ear plugs!! 😄😂

walker, hope you were able to get your shopping done at a decent place ... it's sad when you have to find a new place because of customer service and it seems that it's all around ... I have a store that I won't go to anymore simply because of their deli workers ... rude! and very unfriendly! ... oh well, we move on!!

No plans today but we will have lots of sun 🌞 with a high of 50! ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing!

Good Morning Friends!  ☕️☀️🇺🇸...🦃

Happy Friday!  Today and tomorrow will be in 60's...hooray.....then back to normal 40's.  I can put sandals on and get a pedicure...😁.

I went to my favorite store (meat/fish) yesterday.  I told DH if I am organized I might save money now.  I used to go to store #1 for all my basics...💵💵....then off to store #2 for meat/fish and few sale items...more 💵💵.  Yesterday I got what I needed all at one store..done for this week.  At seafood counter they had a new item....salmon with spinach and feta cheese....decided to try it....yum!  Hope they have it again.  When I checked out I told a manager.."it is a pleasure to shop here....everyone is friendly and helpful".....opposite of store #1...no one smiles anymore.  I guess you have one like that too, Tootie.  Take our money elsewhere!  

kittyfan, I bet house is lovely.  What will be DB's next project?  Maybe more rest time? 😉.  I had to laugh about dominoes, ear plugs and Chatty Cathy..."wears me out".  Good luck!  It reminded me of lunch with high-strung friend last week....she sure wore me out too.  DH says people like that speak at 65MPH with gusts of 90MPH😂.

Good evening

One stop shopping is easier. Less stress! 😔 😔 

Was up this morning when doorbell rings. I was still in my gown. Go to door---here to replace counter.  This has been an issue for months. Well I have to empty the counter and cabinet. Brother asked for notice so he could be here well they didn't notify him.  I called brother. He said he would get dressed and come over but I talked to maintenance and he scheduled for Monday.  Brother going home on Monday and I can manage but not when you catch me in my nightgown!   I haven't gotten used to the pop ins.  Too many years dealing with issues where I had more control.  One day I was barely out of the shower.


Went to dominos chatty Cathy wasn't there but it just wasn't enjoyable.  Brother offered use of the condo if we would like to play there.  He goes all out with color coordinating and wonderful food.  I know they are curious about brothers DW and I know she is curious as we talk about the characters.  He had mentioned scheduling when she is in town. Will see.  

I 💕 your dhs analogy about our chatty friends take time to breath.

I was channel surfing last night. Watched the q for a few minutes.  It seems to me things aren't as polished as they were years ago.  Seems like the vendors come in by remote. I am sure that costs are a factor,

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, I would think that maintenance would give you some kind of notice to fix anything!! ... moving things from the counter and cabinet is not a quick task ... if you decide to let DB "host" your dominoes, it sounds like he would put on quite a good spread.

walker, lol at your DH and fast talkers!! ... glad you were happy with your shopping experience ... makes that chore a whole lot easier ... one stop shopping is how I like to get mine done!!

Happy Saturday!  🥳 Thank you for the pretty greeting, Tootie!  Another year older....another year wiser? 🤣 That probably won't happen...haha.

DH offered to take me out to breakfast....tempting because I could get a mimosa🥂 ....but, I prefer to be lazy...no hurry for anything.  I should have bought a quiche for myself! 

I plan to go with flow this morning....watch my ND football team🏈...better win for me!  Later we are going to a dinner theater performance called Million Dollar Quartet.  It is music of our rock 'n roll era.  Hope it is good.  We are meeting friends there.

Today is GS's birthday too but nice grandma that I am...😉..I said he should enjoy his day his way too.  We had trouble doing a breakfast or lunch due to kids activities.  They might do a "drive-by" visit. 

kittyfan, agree you should have had notice on counter replacement.  They should know it takes time to prep for that....not to mention get dressed!  Does anyone think or care anymore? Ha!  Also, the Q has changed..not all for the better....little too silly and crazy sometimes.  I don't watch as often but check for specials, etc.

Well, on with day....up and taking nourishment...good start..ha!  DH getting me more coffee.....👏👏.
