good evening 

It's nippy here. I know not for you ladies. Brother popped in this evening. He brought me some items i needed.  He is still recovering from his dental procedure. I wish he would kick back and take it easy.  He was wearing sweats. We both run cool so I wasn't surprised.  When I walked him out it was definitely cooler.  We talked about taxes. I had gotten the first round.

Good morning friends ... a miserable rainy and windy day here ... the kids parades were cancelled (at least for outside!) BG's school is going to livestream his parade this morning (yay for technology) ... but we won't be able to see LS's parade ... no livestream for them and they don't allow anyone in the school ... oh well, I at least got to see their costumes the other day up at the park!! and they might stop over tonight too!

walker, I got a laugh about your DH and keeping the grill out a bit longer 😄 ... it's always hard to put that away for the season ... like I said yesterday ... we start counting down the days!! 😄😂

I am sorry weather is not cooperating in your area today, Tootie.  Such a disappointment for kids.  It was a good thing you all got together at park last weekend. At least you can watch school parade on a livestream...still fun to see...just don't forget to tune in. 

Weather here is going to be fine...we'll see how many ghosts, goblins, etc, we get.  Starts at 4:00...trick or treat....

Hi walker! ... cute, cute Halloween greeting!! ... I went back to my post and realized that my pic had watermarks on it ... trademark graphics aren't allowed on the Q (... or else!! 😄 read this a while ago) and I didn't want them to wipe out our whole thread! ... I had trouble finding sites with pics on this morning and didn't pay attention ... 

No candy corn this year? ... now that's good will power!! 💪

Tootie, glad I saw the greeting before you had to take it off.  Good catch!  

I'm not sure about the candy corn being will power as much as forgetfulness! Ha!  Guess with my travels I forgot what is really important!  😂 

Did you see parade?  Pretty cute?  

I remember the apples on string but not doughnuts. I think I would like the doughnuts better.

Finishing laundry and then get ready for ding-dong...trick or treat!  Starts at 4:00 here.  I need to fix chili for dinner too.

walker, the parade was cute! ... they had the kids walk in front of the stage in the auditorium ... they walked single file and waved to the camera in the back (looking right at us!! 😄) the principal announced each class/teacher and kept telling them "wave to the camera in the back" ... it was really cute and glad we got to see it!

It's been a miserable rainy day here ... waiting now to see if anyone is bringing their kids out ... none yet!

OH, TOOTIE...HOW CUTE!  They made things work out well in spite of the weather.  Now BG will be saying..."did you see me?".  

We have another 45 minutes for trick and treating here.  Sure has changed over the years....not as many little kids...neighborhood changing over.  But, all polite.  I just had one kid about 3 who kept grabbing at my bowl as I tried to give him candy....then he said "can I have two?"😳

I said "no, I am sure you will get more candy tonight."  Geez!  Now...getting late-comer older kids....told them I am having a close-out sale...each get 2...down to 4 and I turn out the light!

Good morning friends ... oh boy walker, little or not, he just wasn't happy with just one piece of candy ... and I laughed at your "closeout sale" ... 

The rain finally stopped but it was still very windy ... I'm surprised that anyone was out but we ended up with quite a few kids ... saw a lot of what looked like inflatable cosutmes ... too big and cumbersome to go door to door with, the kids could hardly walk in them!

Happy Saturday!  Happy November!  👏🥳🦃...my month...😉 BUT....start with turning clocks back tonight!

I got rid of all candy!  Hooray!  The last ones to come around were the older kids...all polite and all in costume.  Three guys came and I had four bags of M&M's left.  So, I passed out three and one character looked down sadly at the one left ....OK...you can have it too!  DONE!  LIGHTS OUT!  

Tootie, glad you got some hearty souls to come by...kids don't care....anything for candy!  

No other news here....packing up Halloween today...onto Thanksgiving! 😁
