We'll have another rainy 70 degree day ... I'm getting tired of all the rain that we are having ... it might be a good day to go through my dresser drawers ... I'm sure there are some clothes that I don't wear much and can donate ... I also have to go grocery shopping ... walker, I feel like you do ... we live at the store!

Happy Tuesday!  Nice day ahead, 70,...no rain...sorry you are getting it all, Tootie.  Next week into the 80's...😳.  

We will be going out to breakfast in a little while.  I have to have one cup of coffee first.  DD and SIL can't join us.  They are going out of town at end of week and taking time off.  So, they decided they better skip breakfast this morning.  

kittyfan, I feel dizzy like Tootie just reading about DB on the go!  I guess he is just "programmed" like that...high energy....I'm in the low and slow energy group...😂.  You do well keeping up when he is in town.

Well, better get going....might be a good day to check out flowers after breakfast.

good afternoon

We had a weather morning. Tornado watch and flash flood warnings. Fortunately the weather has moved on. The sun is ouf.

We do need the moisture.  Much of my area is under drought conditions.  

Brother said he was stating in bed today to recoup! He called me earlier to say he was on his way to pick up grands from school.  His son had a meeting. I know that means dinner and bath.  They don't regret not being there full time.  His DW was there last week.  They had been here the previous two weeks.  We all had Drs appointment s. He came back to take me to the last appointment that was hard to get.  We also had to take care of tax issues for my house.  Then he was off to take care of business for three days.  Returned on Sunday in time for church.  Flying out on Monday. Yes makes me tired to think about his schedule.  

Oh I enjoy going out for breakfast. I enjoy it about ten!  

Oh a weekend getaway.  How nice.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, whew! glad those storms missed you ... you mean that DB actually took a little down time for himself?? but knowing DB, I bet it was short-lived 😉☺️ ... good for him though!!

walker, hope you enjoyed your breakfast even though your DD/SIL couldn't join you ... I'm sure you'll give them a "toast" ... did you stop and look at your flowers??

We will have a cooler and cloudy 55 degree day ... but there is only a small chance of rain!! 🤞🏼 ... I was able to gather some things from my dresser drawers and acutally tool them over to the Goodwill ... today I want to get more of my outdoor decorations out ... I hope Mother Nature cooperates 😉

Good Morning Friends!  ☕️🌤️🇺🇸

Happy Wednesday!  Spring is in bloom!  So many pretty flowering trees right now .... love it.  

Breakfast yesterday was delicious!  It takes effort to "get up and go"  but worth it.  I did pass on having a mimosa though...😁.  I had Eggs Benedict with side of fruit. 😋 DH had his usual he-man breakfast of two eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast, jam, etc.  His plate was full but he cleaned it off!  Great waiter too.  Two out-to-eat wins this week!  👍👍

Then I was on a roll....I did get flowers for backyard, Tootie...and planted the deck flower boxes.  I got a hair cut too.  A good day all around!  I might go out again today to get flowers for front.  

kittyfan, you have really had some bad weather in your area.  Soon you will be in "hot and dry".  Good thing your A/C has been fixed.

On with the day....now the big wait on new Pope to be selected....a lot of tradition there...and drama.  I remember my brother calling me last time to say "we have white smoke".  I said...WHAT?  Why? From what?  HA!

Hi walker! ... now that we both have some flowers planted Spring is in the air 🪻🌷🌼🌻 ... glad you had a good breakfast.

I do use VELVEETA especially for the kids but I do have it as a side once in a while ... I haven't bought the brick one in a while but that makes great grilled cheese sandwiches ... I started using VELVEETA for the V because I could never think of anything else and that just stuck! 😃

I don't why they have to go through the conclave for the pope ... tradition, I guess but it takes so long! 🤷‍♀️

Tootie, thanks for refreshing my memory on Velveeta.  I have used it in a warm appetizer...Broccoli-Cheese Dip...very good.  I have not used it for grilled cheese sandwiches but bet that is good...probably creamy.  I always think of you when I see Velveeta anything...😁.

Back to get more flowers this morning for front.  I decided to pass on the hanging baskets this year.  The only ones I could find that I liked were impatiens...pretty but messy!  They drop so many petals on porch.  I opted for some different containers of flowers.  I "think" I am done!

Good morning friends ... walker, I think you had a good idea about not getting hanging baskets ... one of ours has already  lost a bunch of stringers from the winds! 😒 ... glad you were able to make another choice.

 I watched the happenings of the conclave on a news channel ... I did not realize that each cardinal had to take an oath of secrecy separately! ... quite a long process and when all is said and done ... the doors close and the voting begins!! ... and there are crowds of people just watching the chimney for white smoke!

Happy Thursday!  I'm happy to look at my flowers outside.

The weather gal just said there "might" be a chance of frost tonight.  Hope not...don't think so...🤞.  The week ahead looks very nice and warm.   

I saw the crowds waiting at Vatican too, Tootie.  I know it is special but I would not wait outside for it...too many people!   To each his own, eh?  

Friday and Saturday I might be checking in here a little

late...not sure.  I am spending night at DD's while she and SIL are away.  Easy job...good kids.  Tomorrow after I get them to school, I will come home until after school.  Saturday I won't stay long ...DD and SIL hope to be back by noon.  I had to laugh...I was a bit concerned about GS wanting to be out with friends Friday evening...curfew is 11:00....late for grandma..ha.  DD asked him to be home by 10:00 if he goes out...👍.

Good morning

I got involved with watching the Masked Singer. I don't usually watch as I don't know many singers. Then I decided to do laundry.   Not sure why!  Then I turned in.  I don't sleep well and last night was no exception.  

Oh velveteen is good for grilled cheese. Last week when brother and I were out we shared a grilled cheese. A bit disappointed but we both needed to eat.  We often share a dish.  He eats so little and it works for us.  I was surprised at Easter to see he had filled his plate and ate it all quickly.  It was delicious. 

We are having temps heating up.  It is only May.  We needed the rain but I know we are still in drought conditions.  

Oh LOL about the early curfew.  I know they are good and just needed an adult.  

Oh the hanging baskets.  Yes the wind etc.  I enjoy slashes of color.  

Oh I saw parts of the Vatican process.  I can't imagine standing on line for hours to walk by. I guess it is the experience. And now the crowds watching .  I saw many can't see the chimney but still gather.  I did see the oath they took and saw the non cardinals having to leave the hall.  I am not sure how they get meals.  I know they have rooms they retire to but I am not sure if they can interact or if it is silent.
