Great E and a cute picture Tootie!  Perfect!!!  Enjoying your MM's while soaking wet - great time in the Court.  Re: flat cookies -  I think it is the brown sugar that causes the cookies to be more moist - I use 1/2 of each but will cut the BS down a little(not too much) as we love ours chewy on the inside and  crispy on the outside. Works for me. What do I know? I love the cookie dough too!

walker, when you forced asked us to play Ring Around the Rosy, did you wear your crown???♛😄 and did it fall off?  You are so right - very hard to get up after falling down.  Mimosas🥂 were delicious and hit the spot. Great day on the court!

No plans here -just another DVS day.  Did get some docs done yesterday and then had a great UB!  We will be cooler today at 91.  Pretty day.

I spent some time in the basement yesterday ... we got a couple of new shelving units and I did some rearranging  ... and then had a box of "why did I keep this?" things ready for donation!

No plans here today ... we'll have a sunny and humid 83 degree day ... if only this humidity would go away ...

Heating up here...90's for next few days...🥵....TX size heat!  I better walk early or it won't happen.  

Interesting thought on cookies, cookie! 😉 Cut down on brown sugar? 🙀  Oh...YES to cookie dough!  I always have a taste. When my kids were little, they asked for a scoop so we started calling it "scoopers"....who wants a scooper?

Tootie, one good thing about working in basement in summer....it is cool!  Then you have to come up..ha.  Good for you....one more box of "stuff" out the door soon.  I have several things to take to church this weekend for an upcoming rummage sale.

Laundry today and a few errands....better get on my horse.

Hope everyone gets some sunshine today.  Good day to relax at the Court.  Tootie's MM's are soooo good and - when the day is pleasant, so are we!🥰 

Tootie, you have been busy in your basement.  Love the box of "Why Did I Save This?"😂😂 I think everyone has one of them, but not the clever name.  Another great invention by Tootie! 

walker, nice that you have lots of stuff to donate to your church.  Throw in a crown - you have a gazillion of them -  and give someone a special treat!  Any more squirrels, rabbits or other critters?  Your DH could wear a Daniel Boone squirrel tail hat to give them a hint??😃

kittyfan, hope things are going well for you and your crew - canine and human.  

DVS day here  - We will be cooling down again - 88 - slowly but surely. Horses were out in the back yard yesterday and were running free - their manes blowing in the breeze. Beautiful!

walker, my box went out the door yesterday! I didn't want to chance keeping it any longer 😁 ... that's nice that you can donate to your church rummage sale ... not a lot of churches around here have them anymore and several churches around here are on the brink of closing ... our Diocese is closing down our churches by half!! ... so sad!!

kittyfan, we haven't heard from you in a while, hope you are well.

Happy HOT Saturday!  It will be hotter here than TX!  I'll take your 83 since we will be in 90's for next few days.   Hope the horses are running again today!  

I laughed about DH and Daniel Boone hat, cookie.  So far, squirrels are lying low....haha...Chip and Dale have been running around with rabbits though.

Tootie, good for you to get that box out the door quick!  No looking back!  I'll probably drop mine off tomorrow.  Add a crown? 😂....I do have a great collection thanks to you, cookie.  I could spare one....or five....😂.

Sorry to hear about churches closing in your area, Tootie.  Sadly, it is happening more.  Catholic schools too...🙁.

Lucy and Desi are taking another road 🚗 trip next week.  Oh joy!  Seriously, looking forward to it.  Our annual weekend with friends there....sailboat races on Great Lakes to watch...start of anyway.  Then we go north to Upper Peninsula to meet DS/DIL and 3 Amigos for a few days.  They have never been up there.  We will spend a day at Mackinac Island...always fun. The family wants to rent bikes 🚲 and ride around the island...8 miles!  I did it years ago but now?? 😳 Undecided right now. Not staying at Grand Hotel this time.  I'll be here until the end of week.  It will take me that long to pack..unpack...repack....ha.

kittyfan, sounds like SO could use more H.R. and B.A.  I'll bet your DB could show them a thing or 2 or 3 or 4....... If the residents aren't happy, aint no one happy!  Your DB is amazing and how nice of him to put on his Superman Cape and help out a young family.  What a guy!!✨🎇🧨

Tootie, Glad your boxes went out the door and you are done and done!  Sorry to hear about your   Diocese closing down and taking churches with them.  Very sad.  Hope they repair this and everyone will be so thankful🙏🤞.

 walker, another Desi and Lucy terrorize cruise the country trip.  Sounds like a lot of fun for the family.  Wow! Mackinac Island - fun all over the place!  

We will have anotherr DVS day - 93 - and hope for no humidity - yeah, sure......😒 Patio here I come - Mudpie is already out and about - the other two will trot out later.  Love watchinng them.  No Longhorns yesterday. SIL is enjoying his new tractor and riding around the  property   Men and their toys.....I actually  finished a batch for ex yesterday.  Now I can start on my stuff - not if I find a good read on Kindle😄

I got a little last night of the Trump rally - who would do something like that?  What is happening to our country????

kittyfan, ugh, I really hope that things will get better at SO ... what a chore it would be for you to leave ... (although DB to the rescue) ... he makes good use of his cape 😉 ... does management ever ask for feedback at these meetings??

walker, that Beehive play sounds like it would be a lot of fun!! ... and your upcoming trip sounds like fun too! ... the bike ride around the island, although a long trek, would be a good time!! ... I would have to think about it too! ... when we would go on our longer rides I would have to stop and "recharge" and then start up again 😲 (we've only gone on a few bike rides this summer as it's been too hot and humid or windy) ... anyways, you will have fun whatever you decide to do ...

We watched some of the news on the Trump shooting ... I read this morning that the shooter was 20 years old!! ... our world is so crazy and sad ... he had his own agenda and target but took someone elses life!! what a shame!!

Good Morning Friends!  ☕️🌤️🇺🇸

I am still in shock and saddened by what happened last night to our former President.  Thank God he is ok.  This country is a mess...too much hatred and anger.  I have never seen such hatred toward one person.  Just makes me sick!  I will stop before I get poofed here by saying too much.  I know these situations have happened before in history but I would like to think we have learned to handle things better....but, no...devil is alive and well.  

The play was all musical....no story to it....some familiar songs some not.  Really LOUD!  No hearing aids needed...ha!  I guess I wasn't that into 60's music.....funny because I was a teenager then.  So, it was ok.....not as good as The Buddy Holly Story.  Evening was fun with friends though.

kittyfan, sorry about situation at SO.  Moving is such a headache.  I hope you can avoid it.  DB/"SM" will be on it..with your input...you are very alert to things going on there.  Many residents are not and have no one to speak for them.

cookie, sounds like a warm day for sitting outside but hope you get some viewing time in...morning maybe?
