HAPPY TUESDAY!!  WOW...everyone is here!  Laughed again about your "basketball team" Tootie!  No hoop play today...😂....yet anyway!  cookie, cute bee picture....I pass my crown to kittyfan.  And, kittyfan, how nice to have those young people in to help....good lessons learned for them...giving back.  Sign them up!

It is warm and humid here too.  I need to get out early and start running errands.  I'll run slow so I don't sweat....HA!

Round One of errands this morning....before it got too hot.

Last stop grocery store....this is funny.  I wanted to get more of those Good Thins (crackers) I mentioned last week (because I am addicted now)  So, today I see a sign....Buy 2 Get 3 Free....hmmm...rarely see that....must mean the usual...buy 2 get another...3 total.  Got to check out and asked...no...as advertised....3 Free...5 total.  I said...I'll be right back!!   Run..Grandma...Run!!!  HA!  Grabbed my extra ones....now trying the Parmesan and Garlic ones...YUM....also picked up a Three Cheese type.  Tootie, let me know if you ever see them.  They are a new product.

Oh kittyfan, sorry to hear about the S.A. Cafe.  Hope there wasn't too much damage - a lot of hard work put into it.  Good thoughts for them.

walker, is the name of the crackers Good Thins?  I kept thinking it was your opinion hah!  That too.  They sound like they are similar to the Triscuits flavors.  The parmesan and garlic sound great!  I will put them on DD's grocery list since she is the shopper.  Must remember to list Vidalia Onions for my sandwich.  I use mayo and Beau Monde seasoning but S&P would be good too.  Tried a little mustard, but prefer the just mayo.

Tootie, I kind of agree with your DM.  I did not want bars in my shower either and since they couldn't be installed without a professional re-do. (the measurements don't fit with the framing .  I did get a shower chair and a handle that grips to the tub and it is a good thing. Don't use the chair for sitting - mostly to dry out the tub mat.  😄 It is there i case of an emergency though.  It's not fun being old!!! 🙁 Good wishes to your DM.

Good morning friends ... ugh, kittyfan, that's too bad about the Cafe flooding ... I hope they'll be able to get that cleaned up with no problems ...

cookie, I laughed at your comment about your bath chair being used to dry your shower mat .. DM already has a bar in the shower and a chair ... but she now needs one to get in and out of the tub (she doesn't have a walk in shower) ... for years she has fought with us about it because this one will be able to be seen on the outside of her shower curtains (she didn't want people to see it ... 🙄) now, she has no choice ... eventually, she'll realize that it's there to help her! ... I like onions but I never heard of eating them on a sandwich ... maybe some day I will try it.

walker, glad you were able to run back and grab the rest of your crackers ... our stores here have those kind of deals every week ... you can't go wrong with them especially if it's something that you like ... I plan on looking for those crackers every time I go into the store ... they sound really good.

Our weather today sounds like TX weather ... 84 with thunderstorms ... tomorrow our temps and the humidity is supposed to drop into the 70's ... yay!!

Warm Wednesday with showers later here....better get out this morning....my wilted look is not so good...ha ....HHH!

When my DM used to visit and I was concerned about her in shower, I got one of those bench-type seats too.  I still have it......in case....ha...I get old and need it!  😆  Hope your DM continues to make progress, Tootie.  I understand your frustrations there.....lots of biting your tongue and rolling your eyes, eh?  

kittyfan, what a shame about the Cafe in S.A.....worse yet it might delay work on Cafe near you.  🥴  Sure hope it gets open for you....sooner rather than later.  And, bring back your favorite Kristen (Kirsten?)

DH keeps interrupting me here...😖...maybe that is my sign.....SIGN-OFF!!!  I never realized how much he talks until he retired...ha!  

cookie, when I sign-off here I have to immediately clear my history (book icon on top...hit clear) then I'm off.  But, you are right....better to be on instead of being off and frustrated logging on again.  I also found when I click on "blogs and forums" as I log on here.....I do sign-in on same page....works.  Still crazy for all of us or should I say drives us crazy!!

Tootie, here is the bar I bought and use for easy access into the tub.  Got it at Amazon.  Medline Deluxe Plastic Tub Grab Bar.  It is easy to install.

Maybe your DM would like this.

Good afternoon. Home from TS. My clueless volunteer acted like she didn't know the schedule. Really. I pit in the newsletter at church. Gsvd her dates over phone, gave her dates in person the nrxt day. Today she was clueless. One other time she arrived in parking lot. Well Jand husband happened by Nd told her. I didn't know about it until he mentioned it when he saw her at store. This is the lady they recommended take over my duties. I voiced my opinion. If they give her duties I won't help
We were very busy. The grands were there. Worked steady. GRAND MOTHER said she wanted them to have servants hearts. Mom and dD adencourage this also. They are being raised right.

Oh my five years since the Dallas Police shooting. Time really does fly.

Starting to rain as I got home. Really humid when I left TS.

Hello ... walker, lots of frustration ... I'm surprised I haven't bittne my tongue in two ... 😏 but DM is progressing ... slowly.

cookie, how funny! that's the bar that we ordered for DM ... glad you approve of it ... it should work out well for her ... thanks for thinking of her.

kittyfan, we need more people in this world like the grands parents and grandparents ... how nice that they like to help out ... and Clueless Clara the TS can do without ... I can't imagine her trying to take care of things.

We're expecting a storm tonight ... the skies are pretty dark but the humidity has gone way down ... AC is off and the windows are opened ... (at least until it starts raining ...)
