Our rain has stopped and I was able to open the windows ... there is a nice breeze ...

Good morning ~  Nice to hear that you got your cable stuff fixed walker. Hope you didn't bite your tongue too hard - it would hurt while sipping Mimosas!  

Tootie I wish we had your weather.  We will be 96 today and they are predicting chances of rain this weekend.  I love rain and like to open windows when it does, but not here as it's always too hot.

I cannot believe how fast this week has gone by - could it be all the wild MGR rides speeding things up???  Speaking of which, I will be riding Svetlana Skunk.  She is very shy and won't face the camera but she is a friendly girl and will not spray unless threatened.  She will be safe with SCC. 

Round and round - more fun than doing laundry!  Mimosa time can't come soon enough.

Good Morning Friends!  🇺🇸😷

Hang on, Tootie, I will send you some cooler weather soon. Sorry I can't push it south to cookie and kittyfan.   Today we are suppose to be a "comfortable" low 80's...low humidity!  I turned off A/C before going to bed last night and opened windows.  But, still summertime and heat returns over weekend. 

I need to finalize my thoughts/plans on food for Great Adventure soon.  Need to shop today or tomorrow....Saturday....fix and freeze.....my job done!  Of course, bake more cookies to take too. Then help DH pack....they may need to pull a Uhaul for all this stuff!  HA!  

Chicago is sure getting a black-eye!  (And other good cities.)
Wish the mayor would just accept some help....reinforcement to control this insanity.  Chicago is such a great city.  I used to love going into town....not anymore.  If I lived on south side, I would probably never leave my home .....and, sadly, staying inside isn't even safe!

Well, time for fun......think I will ride Eloise 🐘 Elephant....behind Svetlana Skunk....if she gets mad without a mimosa, I will have Eloise give the stink a spray! 😂

Ahhhh, the fun begins ~ Tootie, you're first.  Here she is Olivia Ostrich at your service ~  Be careful though, they are known to bite although I doubt she would bite our wonderful Mimosa maker!!!  She does love her Mimosas - extra large ones that don't evaporate while going down her long neck!

walker, you're up ~ Eloise Elephant - Ellie for short.  She is an elephant with many hobbies - the main one being body painting.  See below

Hi there......I think the slow problems are on my end..?...hmmmm...and I just got this new modem connector yesterday???  Who knows!  This afternoon I took my 3A's to DD's for a swim.  Everyone had a good time.  But, because it was a busy day, I did not get my usual UB!!!  I feel the difference!  So...early to bed for me!!!!

Good morning ~  walker, you are not alone at least on this site.  I often have slow problems as well as jumping pages when I click on #1 it goes to #3.  Too technical for this pea brain.

You mentioned a few posts back the Chicago was getting a black eye.  I think a lot of major cities are fighting the same battle.  Sad when the law can't or won't do what should be done instead of a sympathetic slap on the hand. Sad to see what's happening to once beautiful cities all over.

Time to get on the MGR to escape the world.  I will be riding Francois the French Fox today.  Notice his beautiful tail of which he is extremely proud, if not stuck up.  He even carries a little brush to keep it perfectly combed!  He is also very conscientious of his deportment and known for his dignified manner.  Gosh, I wonder if he can fit in with SCC?
