Good morning ~  That was a great BAT!  Yes, I was able to get the horses back without a hitch.  The Police chief was not happy about his "gifts" and didn't want anymore at the jail.  I was given a "royal" escort out with the horses as well and a warning to promise to stay away from that crazy lady who thinks she's a Queen!  I promised (fingers crossed) to never see her again. Hahaha.

It is 39 right now and will go up to 64 today.  Up, down, up, down.  What is with this weather.  Starting the eye drops this morning - I had to make a chart or I would never remember which and what.  Good suggestion walker!

Pouring and passing ~

V - very good use of the U Tootie!  or Vermicilli

Good afternoon. Went to church this morning. Had to laugh. Sat next to two other ladies who volunteer at the thrift store. We were all sporting "finds". I only recognized the others as they purchased them when we worked. Another volunteer may have been sporting also. One Sinday she said she was bedecked in her finds. She always finds items for her DIL and grands!

Then after services stopped to visit with another lady. She said she didn't see me on Friday--no not this week!

Thinking about attending a community service this evening. Harpist will contribute to music! Can't get to comfortable or I won't leave again.

X: xtra good wishes for Cookie--know she will do well. And to Quien with her guests and Tootie with her role in preparations

Good morning ~ Thank you kittyfan for the good wishes.  The community service with the Harpist sounds beautiful, hope you enjoy it.  Had to laugh at the Thrift Store Fashion Show!  Just goes to show that you can have fun with anything!

We got a new puppy!  She is a Red Heeler and 7 weeks old.  She looks like peaches and cream.  SIL named her Shilo and it fits.  She is getting very spoiled with all the attention.  This makes 6 dogs!  I can't say much as I had 12 cats.  These little bundles are hard to resist.

Today will get to 64, but it is 38 right now - a duplicate of yesterday.  SIL grilled last night  and a few people stopped by to see the puppy!  SIL sure loves to grill and I am very thankful he does!

Passing the coffee ~

Good morning friends .... awww cookie, a new puppy!! Shilo sounds like a cutie ... have the other dogs "welcomed" her with open "paws"?? ... do they all stay in the house??

Another mild day ... 31 now but will go up to 42!! the whole week is supposed to be mild like this ... makes it easier for those that travel over the holiday ...

Catch up Monday for me .... making a trip to the grocery store this morning to finish up my list for Thanksgving needs and then home to UB it!!

Have a good day ... pouring and passing ...

Good Morning Friends!

Quick note.....family up...getting breakfast before they head into the city for the day.  DH and I will stay home.  Big night last night....family surprised me with a birthday dinner party.  Very special!

cookie....what fun to have another puppy.....not your responsibility either....kind of like having grandkids.....you can enjoy them but don't have responsibility!!!  You have those beautiful horses, dogs and few cats too....you will live a long time....they say having pets does that!

Tootie, thought I saw some snow in the east....must have bypassed you.  I need to run to store again too.

Kittyfan, did you go to the service with the Harpist?  That would be pretty....such soothing music.  We hired a harpist to play during DD's wedding ceremony....loved it!

All for now.......back later.....Happy Monday!

Good morning. Oh a new puppy!
I

I recognized many folks from working thrift store. Recognized community choir members also. Very nice service. Minister delivering sermon was great. Very high energy--great message. Harpist was lovely. Was glad I went. I knew my pastor would not attend and I was the only one to represent but that was ok. Since the church was our new partner I felt a bit of an obligation but it was really uplifting. Very cool when we got out. Didn't check the time but I was home late so I am thinking service was longer.

Thanksgiving with friends. No Black Friday shopping

Walker: what a lovely surprise. I know you will enjoy the day to recoup!
