Thanksgiving's Coming!

[ Edited ]

And DH has already requested his favorite turkey recipe, of course I'll oblige!

Lemon Turkey Breast

Heat oven to 350 degrees

Rub butter or oil over the skin of the turkey until it is completely
coated.  Take a knife and gently separate the skin from the breast meat.

Slide lemon halves under the skin with the peel side up. This way the
Juice from the lemon will coat the breast. Season skin of turkey to
your preference, place sprig of rosemary into the turkey.

Cover and place in oven for 3-4.hours. Remove cover and continue
to roast until juices run clear, basting every 15-20 minutes depending
on the size of the bird.

If you've followed these steps correctly, your turkey should look like
the one in the picture.

It MUST be a SLOW day!!!

Too cute and before I saw the picture I was thinking why the chicken has the sprig of rosemary and I thought we have a turkey recipe.

Never mind.

But your recipe says place a sprig of rosemary into the chicken??

What happened to the chicken then?

then I saw the picture and thought it was a joke.

Too funny, I thought the chicken got away or somehow was inside

your turkey.

I'm still laughing.
