Stuffed peppers or cabbage rolls were a staple growing up in the fall/winter. Thinking back, we only had a side salad and rolls with stuffed peppers. Cabbage rolls meant either a baked potato or roasted potatoes because anything else was declared "too much mushiness" by my dad, lol. He needed something to "crunch". Rolls were part of it as well; crunchy rolls by Pepperidge Farms as a matter of facts. I don't think they even make them any more!
