Has anyone ever done them in the crockpot?
I usually pressure cooker them but these are big and they all won't fit. I'm being lazy by not wanting to make them in 2 batches!

All I know about artichokes is to never put any part of them down a garbage disposal. I killed one dead as a door nail that way.

I always cook mine on top of the stove with some water in the bottom of the pan. Also use a lid so that they pretty much steam. Keep checking to make sure there is water in the pot. I usually go a quarter of the way up with water.
