Spillover anxiety? Go up one quart

Rather than worry about spillovers and cleaning a cookie sheet or oven bottom, go up one quart when making anyone's recipe for a casserole.  Three quarts?  Go to four.  Of course this is assuming you have a pretty complete range of sizes.

I would never use a 2-quart dish for a 2-quart recipe.  That is a recipe for discomfort in dipping and a disaster on the oven or countertop.

I'm ashamed to admit that I never thought to size up in bakeware (I often need to do it with clothes ( Smiley Wink)  Such a simple and great idea!

I always size up unless making brownies....you end up with brownie brittle if you do....

I lay a piece of aluminum foil on the rack underneath.  Just toss it when finished.
