I'm almost finished with my meal planning for the Thanksgiving holiday. Still thinking about a couple of appetizers and side dishes. We love roasted cauliflower, but haven't made it with brown butter & pumpkin seeds

I like to make cauliflower "steaks" as a side dish to chicken, steak, meatloaf. Slice thick cauliflower steaks, season with salt & pepper, pan sear them. Depending upon the size of the cauliflower head, you should get 4 decent sized cauliflower steaks.

I do love cauliflower--raw, steamed, roasted--anyway. Have been buying the yellow variety lately---was on sale so thought I'd try it--is a milder version of the white kind-- anyway---was making mashed spuds and only had a small amount of the caulif left--I tossed it in with the spuds and mashed it all up--used the reg mashed spuds ingred and wow--was it delicious!!! and that color made the dish look like I dropped a ton of butter in it---
