This recipe is always a hit with company and just because.
I also hope all my QVC Pals also enjoy it.
Spiced Sweet Potato Wedges w/ A Creamy Garlic Yogurt Dip
Yield: 4 servings
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Total Time: 50 minutes
Ingredients:
2 Sweet Potatoes, peeled and cut into wedges
1 tbsp of olive oil
1 tsp cumin
½ tsp smoked paprika
¼ tsp kosher salt
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
¼ tsp garlic powder
½ cup of plain, nonfat Greek yogurt
½ tsp of white wine vinegar
1 tbsp fresh chopped parsley
A pinch of salt
Directions:
Pre heat oven to 400
Combine sweet potatoes, olive oil, spices and salt in a large bowl. Toss until the sweet potatoes are evenly coated in the spice mixture.
Place potatoes on a rimmed baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven and give the potatoes a flip.
Pop them back into the oven for another 15-20 minutes or until the potatoes are golden brown on the outside.
While the potatoes are cooking combine the garlic, garlic powder, yogurt, vinegar, parsley, and salt in a small bowl.
Set it aside until your potatoes are ready to go!
Remove the potatoes from the oven, and serve with the garlic yogurt dipping sauce.

Thanks very much for the hearts, but if it is not an imposition I would also like some personal replies as well.
At least that way we have more cyber interactions, can share our thoughts, and also post feedback as to whether the recipe was a keeper or not.

I love sweet potatoes done in a savory way.
I love dicing sweet potatoes and tossing in olive oil, s@p and smoked paprika and then roasted. If there are any leftover they are delicious reheated in some oil in skillet for breakfast.
This is definitely on my to try list. Thanks for posting.

Interesting recipes, I may try them.
However, I have a hard time associating the sweetness of sweet potatoes with garlic (although I love it !) and even smoked spices ????
The recipe kind of confuses me.

I mean this in a kind way, but I also have no words to add other than this:
"If the recipe really confuses you, please do not prepare it".
