Mostly fat in this dishSmiley Sad

Okay, so then don't make it. I don't think one would have to use the butter and there are low fat versions of cream cheese, ricotta, sour cream and shredded cheese. Someone at work brings a crock pot version of this recipe to luncheons and it is very popular. She calls it Crock Pot Lasagna.

FYI............personally I don't eat type of high fat food. Substitutes or not. It's not appealing.

If this recipe is too high in fat for some people's health (and I can see that it might be), then just don't make it. Problem solved.

I guess I don't see the need to make the OP feel bad about it.

No one would want to eat like this every day but an occasional serving sounds very yummy indeed.

Thank you for posting it, Brit. Smiley Happy

ukcat, I am really tired so i hope i got this right Smiley Happy)

Heat oven to 350. Boil the noodles,Drain mix cream cheese, sour cream and ricotta cheese, mix very well..

Brown the beef, drain. pour spaghetti sauce over the top of beef.

Use a few slices of butter on the bottom of your baking dish.

Layer 1/2 of the noodles on the bottom. Pour all of the cheese mixture on top of noodles.

Add the other 1/2 of the noodles and a few slices of butter on top.

Pour the sauce over the meat. Bake for 30 minutes. Top with the cheese and bake for 15 min.

Watch your dish, Not all ovens are the same.. Sometimes it takes 20 minutes to bake and 10 more minutes for the melted cheese!! sometimes I add 2 cups of cheese sometimes more...

Take care, Britt

Thanks for posting this Brit! It sounds delicious! I have saved it and look forward to trying it!

I don't understand all the "not good for you "comments, It didn't say "Healthy" Spaghetti Bake. I wish people would just move on when they don't like a post instead of trying to hurt someone's feelings and telling others(all of us grown) what to do. That's why I only have 905 posts since 2005. Who needs the aggravation.
