My kids loved these little treats to munch on when they were growing up! Heck...I love them now!!!

Soda Cracker Delights

1 cup butter

1 cup brown sugar...packed

1 (12-oz pkg) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Peanut halves, chopped walnuts, almonds (optional)

soda crackers

Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil and grease...can also use the Reynolds Release Foil or parchment. Line crackers side by side on cookie sheet. In a saucepan mix the butter and the brown sugar together. Boil for 3 minutes stirring constantly. You want this mixture to be of a sticky consistency. Pour over crackers.

Bake 4-5 minutes at 375 until mixture is bubbly.

Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with the chocolate chips. I allow the chips to sit for about 1-2 minutes to melt and then spread. Sprinkle with nuts if desired. Cool in the refrigerator. I try and score at the cracker seams with a sharp knife for easier cutting or you can just break them in irregular pieces. Store in airtight container.
