My local store has recipe booklets in the cheese department using cheese of course, thought I would pass on a few that sounded good!

Smoky Cheddar-Bacon Dip

1 8oz. cream cheese, softened (can use Neutchatel)

1/2 c. mayo (can use lite)

1 t. dill weed

2 garlic cloves, finely minced

2 c. shredded smoked cheddar cheese, divided

10 slices bacon, cooked crisp, crumbled and divided (can use turkey)

Preheat oven to 375

In a large bowl combine cream cheese, mayo, dill and garlic. Stir in 1 1/3 c. cheddar cheese and half of the bacon, mix well.

Spread into a small baking dish. Top with remaining cheese and bacon.

Bake 15 minutes, until bubbly and cheese is melted.

Serve with baby vegetables or pretzels. Also good as a chilled spread with crackers.
