Has anyone who has a smoker smoked cream cheese. Sounds delicious! We have a Traeger but never thought to smoke cream cheese. We love our brisket, ribs and pulled pork.

Wouldn't the heat make it melt?

Sounds very interesting--I'd try it! I have  a Ninja outdoor grill/smoker combo--never used the smoker feature yet--- may have to investigate---My brother smokes deviled eggs in his smoker--OMG----incredible!!!! would adding liquid smoke to cr cheese be the same? As long as it was just the tiniest amount of it.

Re: Smoked Cream Cheese

[ Edited ]

Never tried to smoke cheese. We have bought smoked goats milk cheese that was good.

DH has a brisket on the smoker right now. Yum!!!

We always buy the brisket flat without all the fat.

He's using Myron Mixon's Hot & Fast cooking technique 2-2-2 brisket recipe.

He smokes it naked or unwrapped for 2 hours until temp is around 160°, next smoke wrapped in foil covered foil pan 2 hrs until temp is around 205°, next he wraps with towel & puts in ice chest 2 hrs.

It always turns out good. No waiting all day to eat brisket.

Lately he's been making baby back ribs on the Weber grill. It takes around 3 hrs. DH used Penzey's BBQ 3000. He spritzes it with apple juice. Brushes with BBQ sauce before they are done. Super easy. Yummy sticky ribs.

DH likes the ribs this way so much he picked up more baby back ribs. I have 5 slabs in the freezer.
