Thank you, my neighbors are both ill, cancer and cardio vascular disease and I knew this would be soft and easy to digest. I refer to them as elderly, however, I'm 72, not too much younger than they are.

Thank you, they're very nice, she met me at my garage and brought mini candies and chocolate eggs, she's always doing things like that. She had breast cancer and radiation which has been he..on her.

She's still kicking! She can run circles around me.

@Alsace Gal That bread looks like perfection.  Madonna was once asked what she denies herself, if there was anything she could have what would it be.  She relied, "a slice of fresh bread with jam". (I'm paraphrasing...but you get the idea.). Homemade bread is life....just so good!

Thank you. The bread pan is by Emile Henry, I purchased it at William Sonoma. Absolutely nothing sticks to it, I've had it for years, bread, meatloaf, cakes, etc have been baked in it.

DH makes bread, rolls, hamburger buns etc all the time.

He uses the bread machine to make the dough. He does not like the loaf a bread machine makes so he uses a few  different pans.

The right pan makes all the difference. You're fortunate to have a hubby who loves to bake!
