Searching for Correct Recipe

Searching for a PINEAPPLE MUFFIN specific recipe.  My aunt sent this to me, but has since passed away.  I've tried to make this two different times with bad results.  I've searched online and can find other recipes, but not this one.  For sentimental reasons, I'd really like to find the one she sent me, but with the correct ingredients and measurements.  It was published in The Hawaii District Women's Missionary Society Cookbook.  It came from Mr. B. Inouye of Kalaheo, Kauai.  Hope someone out there can help.

Sounds delish. If it used canned pa maybe you had to drain it.

@Blk&GoldFan  -  I Googled the cookbook and it brought up a website called, ebook download, where it looks like you may be able to read the cookbook.  You have to set up an account, which I don't know if it's free or not.  I'm not sure about this website and have never heard of it, so you may not want to pursue it.  Hope you find it!

@Group 5 minus 1  Thank you for your response.  It calls for undrained.

Re: Searching for Correct Recipe

I searched & did not find it. Found one called Sunrise Muffins with pineapple & coconut. The used recipe book is on Ebay for $16 free shipping. Looks like it's just called pineapple muffins on page 133.

Re: Searching for Correct Recipe

@Blk&GoldFan  -  I'm sure this isn't the same, but I'm baking today and saw a pineappple muffin recipe with undrained pineapple, brown sugar, and sour cream.  Can you remember some of the other ingredients (outside of the usual)?  Saw the cookbook available on Amazon too.  Let us know if you find it, you've made me hungry!Woman Very Happy

@Blk&GoldFan

You can buy this cookbook for $9.00 from Amazon.  It has this recipie on page 134.  I don't know if this is the one you are looking for, or if this is the right volume or year of this book you are seeking.  Hope this helps.

@Blk&GoldFan, if you look up "The Gutenbergproject (don't remember .org or com) you might be able to find it. You can research it by the title of the book/periodical. I would love to knew if you find it-and I want to read it!

@IlliniGirl88  Appreciate your input, but this was a bad website for me.  Security on my computer blocked me.

@Poodlepet2  Cool website.  Unfortunately, no record of having this cookbook.  Thanks for the recommendation.
